USA v Russia, not a real threat of war.
USA v North Korea, not likely to end in war.
The real threat lies with Pakistan & India, now the likelihood of conflict between them is high, escalation to nuclear conflict is moderate.
Hope so! Nevertheless, the world situation has deteriorated remarkably in the last two years and Trump and Putin are far less stable than the leaders on both sides even during the height of the Cold War.

Ok so not a miss for my 1981 theme team.
J Geils Band entered the UK charts with the above in February 1982 and two weeks later hit their highest position number 3 that month.
I'll amend my 1982 list accordingly.
I just learned that Mormons apparently believe that the Apostle John is immortal, too and is evidently wandering around out there somewhere:

Here is some more fun stuff on it (the guy in the last post is completely bonkers):

Well, last time I looked Pearl Carr and Teddy Johnson (same era and arguably even more inane than that lot) were still alive. UK Eurovision entry (and disaster) from 1959 and subject of a running gag in one episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus

I hate these Killings. I voted Norway since we are under an alert because of what happened in Sweden a few days ago. Luckily the schools are now closed until next Tuesday.
Here is an internet celeb that even an old cynic like me can like. "Jam Grandma" (MarmeladenOma aka Helga Sofia Josefa) is an 85 year old German woman who has found fame reading fairy tales to her grandchild on the internet:

85 years old... I wonder how many more videos the old dear will post before she times out of life? After all, no one really lives happily ever after...
