It's a curse like: everyone who worked on opening King Tut's tomb in 1922 are now dead. Spooky!

Just over a month ago, I registered a decoy Facebook account solely for deadpool research. I've zero desire to bring my IRL alias onto the Internet realm so I used a fake name and left the account completely blank. I underestimated just how thorough the administration there is as it already has been disabled. Drat...

Italian politician Clelio Darida, who was the Mayor of Rome from 1969 to 1976 and a Minister of Justice, has died (11th May) in Rome. He was also accused of bribery and was imprisoned for a short time but was later acquitted of all accusations. I'm still waiting to hear from Theresa anything but Brexit as a policy stance. Keep waving the Union Jack love. Yikes, just listening to her speech, she's said something else. Protect pensions from unscrupulous bosses? This has been an issue since Robert Maxwell, and you've done eff all. Cap energy bills? Everyone agrees that this will lead to a rise in bills, crikey your party slagged that off as Marxist only two years ago, now you complain that John McDonnell is Marxist? Meantime, Corbyn is making a hash of re-stating Labour's long standing nuclear weapons policy. Emily Thornberry made a damn good job of patronising the Scots on the Edinburgh Question Time last night with her "we know best for you, stoopid Jocks" attitude. Tim Farron - here's our policies for proudly boasting we will not win, but second would be good. I'm with the guy on the street who was on the BBC news the other day who just despairs at the state of the lot of them.

Ueli Steck, Lord Williams of Baglan, Sylvia Moy, Captain James Dickson MBE, Jon Prinz Basically, people you wouldn't know (apart from maybe Steck) apart from dead pooling. Bayldon should be a shoe in for next week.

The puns here are just getting worse and worse. Half the submissions nowadays are just "stopped acting", "stopped singing".

FFS....oh i may agree this seems the most appropriate thread, but FFS (yes I said it again) now this guy is in THREE threads in a matter of 30 minutes. Search box must not be working again *rolls eyes*. Can't wait for Joey Russ or summat to launch the Geoffrey Bayldon thread....as usually happens after the fact, like this is a fahkin tribute website FFS (thrice). SC

For once I understand a person changing their surname professionally. This may be the only time. Bill Peet was a children's book illustrator and a writer for Disney animations circa 1937-1967, and died 15 years ago, age 87. His birth name was William PEED, and while disturbing enough, clearly couldn't be used professionally on children's books or animations.

Hi Joey - you keep spelling this wrongly and as it's a killer disease and you are a prime mover in Dead Pool circles I'm sure you would want me to correct you. It is spelt 'glioblastoma'. You're welcome.

Well the average life expectancy for a 90 year old (someone born in 1927) is 4.4 years (4 for a man, 4.8 for a woman). As this is a last man standing game I would presume that no-one will be picking people who are already ill and therefore it is likely that the average will be exceeded (even if the picks were random this is still probably true). In 2011 if you were already 90 you had a 9.3% chance of reaching 100 - I doubt that has changed much. So if there are 11 people in the game you can expect it to last about 10 years.Chances of reaching 100

I think she is actually dead, she's just not famous. Seriously, anyone on this site who is aware of her for being anything other than "the oldest alive person on deadoralive.info" step forward. She may have been "the mother of the Nation of Islam", but that's only because Elijah Mohammed or Malcolm X or some other dude said that once, in the same way that if you meet Hulk Hogan as a kid and he goes "You're the #1 Hulkamaniac", that doesn't actually mean anything.
