1 pointEspecially UKIP. This Kipper.. ... has a better chance of winning a constituency than the political party, imo.

1 pointIan Brady is no moor and thirteen teams had a Brady hunch that he would survive the year. The Unknown Man takes a clear lead for the first time in this competition. 1 pointJust because she looks bad doesn't mean she's dying any time soon, ask Kirk Douglas. Rosalynn Carter has had no hospital visits, or at least ones worthy of us knowing her 89 years of life, Barbara has had nearly a dozen hospital visits since 2009.

1 pointI still think we will beat the record.Best way to look at is who is a bad pick.I would say there is a handful only such as Blackman White QE2 Carter Prowse Akhito etc. I still reckon at the very least we will get Bracknell Downie Christie Booth and King Michael. Of course if the rumours are right about Hefner he is a May or June hit.I also think Bush is likely to go this year. As for all the others many of those with Alzheimers must be getting near the end.So we should lose at least 2 this year. As for the extremely old Graham is another Zsa Zsa but cant go on forever .Many of those over 90 on the list are not in the public eye so who knows how they are.Stastically we should lose a couple of them at least too.

1 pointDunno, I'd actually rather have a deathless May (long story, OCD) and then a very busy June-July-August. The record can still be broken, folks. In 2003 we got 14 and all the hits happened in only half of the year: March-September. In 2015 we were at the same pace as now and got 14.

1 pointThat's gotta be a Mirror staffer who browses this forum just earning their Sunday wage right?

1 pointThis post encapsulates exactly why there is such a chasm between mainland Europe and the UK. We take the piss and the Europeans dont.

1 pointHe's not arguing over his obitability, we all know he will obit quite easily. He's arguing that he's not the sort of name you would see on the deathlist front page.
-
1 pointIt's nothing to do with him being famous or not, but if he's the type of person the Cmme would go for. Besides, as an example, Garfield the cat is world famous, who many folk can name his creator? Jim Davis, incidentally, but the point stands.

1 pointOn this day in 2001 famous American singer and television personality Perry Como died aged 88. His proper first name was Pierino. He was born May 18th 1912 so died less than a week short of his 89th birthday. His career in music ran from 1932-1997 and his musical genre's were easy listening and big band. He pioneered a successful musical variety television show in the US. He had one of showbusiness's longest marriages at the time having been married to his wife Roselle for 65 year's. She died suddenly in 1998 and it's said he remained heartbroken and inconsolable over his loss until his death just three years later.

1 pointAs I stated, deaths usually come in waves. I expect some sort of summer wave going to hit us soon. Not sure if that's enough for the record, but it should put us over 10 for sure.
