4 pointsA little dream came true: I saw Kylie Minogue live yesterday! As a fan since 1988, that was absolutely necessary and I have not regretted it: Kylie is cute and friendly, communicates with the audience and the show was also really good. In love with you for 30 years, dear Kylie!

3 pointsChristopher Tolkein is 94 today. Gotta be on the clock....perhaps. He did quit as a director last year....

1 pointUpdate on the above: Harry Leslie Smith appears to have had a fall and has pneumonia for the 2nd time this year. Well enough for a cup of tea, but still in the emergency ward, on Nil by mouth, and has refused intubation. imo this is likely to be (or near enough) Harry's Last Stand...

1 pointWhat I meant was a pop star in the UK. Like A-ha, Abba, Vanessa Paradis. As you can see from my post, I actually researched the fucker! Sorry I wasn't clear enough. Jesus Fucking Christ.

1 pointHere's my post from Monday in the Dead on Wiki thread: Here's the faint praise from alt obits guy from Tuesday referencing only writing Brandy/Mandy: So maybe if he'd cross-quoted my post, I wouldn't have had to point out that alt obits guy had damned him with faint praise, @maryportfuncity, and you wouldn't have misunderstood my post and repeated what I'd already posted. He was a UK pop star and all.

1 pointA truly damning indictment of the Irish education system encapsulated in twenty words. I hardly ever swear on these forums, Mad Hatter, but I'm finding it exceptionally difficult to stop myself from calling you a sad, racist twat. In any case, you're on mod preview again until somebody else takes pity on you.

1 pointAs you have now become a fully fledged adult, or so you say, would it not be a good idea to stop posting the kind of bollocks that you hope will get you a temporary ban? Grow the fuck up.

1 pointYou guys are nowhere even close. Cain was killed at the age of 730, at the hands of his great, great grandson Lamech. Unfortunately, no QO, because Genesis doesn't qualify I don't think.

1 pointI just realized that the opening of the submission period is much closer than I realized. Which means I probably need to make my list around Wednesday or Thursday for my submission to the list before it opens...

0 pointsHarry Leslie Smith, a bit of a twitter celeb who I follow, seems to be in his final hours at 95. He was tweeting until 10 hours ago when he said he had to go to hospital, now his son has taken over his account and says he is in serious condition, not looking good. . Very sad if he does go. He is proof positive that wisdom comes from age ! https://twitter.com/Harryslaststand
