Er, while I don’t mind people having the same pick in the same spot, I do take issue with people copying the exact same team from someone exactly as they posted it. Feel like there should be a rule against that (though wornfarmer does have the final say)...

'I have met many people who earn way more than £30,000 and have literally no discernible skills, not even one.' 'I have definitely met some very rich people who earn huge amounts of money who I wouldn’t let hold my pint if I had to go and vote while in the bar' Bwhahahaha. Jess Phillips for PM.

It was for those reasons above that I was considering her for my personal 2019 shortlist, but later decided against it. I was tickled pink though when the committee put her name up as it felt nice that they were thinking along the same lines as me.

My dad has been discharged today! We know and he knows his time is limited, but we are trying to spend it at best. For now I'm happy we did not lose dad when we had lost all hopes.

My team is in. I was going to say that I consider myself the Cardiff City of the Deathlist Cup but I don't want anyone thinking I got an unfair head start.

I know this is a joke article, but I loved to talk about how the 2016 election should’ve been between Bush and Carter

At long last, it's for whom Sobell tolls. Died in December though, so sod all for any current deadpools!

Indiana cold kills zebra. Should have thought of that afore getting on the boat then, heh? https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/energy-environment/the-latest-extreme-cold-stops-mail-delivery-in-some-states/2019/01/29/9f6b14b2-2424-11e9-b5b4-1d18dfb7b084_story.html?utm_term=.b2b7017cb038

I'm not getting that from the article. He says she can't be left alone any longer, presumably in case she does something daft or dangerous. So now they have carers in so he can get some rest and a break instead of spending every waking hour with her. Nothing about nursing care. I'd guess it's more like child-minding.

"Legrand first won an Academy Award in 1969 for the song The Windmills of Your Mind". What a great song. Didn't realize who the composer was, or that they were still alive. Sad news.
