Looks like he’s stable according to this. Think he definitely should make an appearance on the list if he sees 2021.
  4. 2 points
Was anyone suggesting to take him off the list?

Peter Haynes – there's quite a few ppl by that name from Middlesex born 1957/58, most of the ones from Uxbridge way seem to be 1958 births so let's go for c. 1958. Stride – I got nothing. "Howard Wall, Uxbridge b. 1953" – that's the only person with that name born in the area between 1940 and 1960 so must be him. Added.

Yeah, they filmed an episode but apparently she had no screen chemistry with Patrick Macnee at all. Which didn't stop them casting Linda Thorson who had chemistry with nobody, of course. Whereas Macnee and Rigg... there was TV interview with the two of them years and years ago, and the interviewer asked if they thought Steed and Peel were lovers. "Yes" said a smirking Macnee and "No" said Rigg at the exact same time before both laughed. What a pair!

Bloody lower reaches of the Top 40. Damn you to hell Lori, ha! Meantime...The Lurkers. Here is Pete Haynes website. http://petehaynes.co.uk/index.php/about-me/ Now dragging what little info there is...there's a picture of Ickenham Tube Station, so likely he's from Hillingdon Borough in West London. Says he got a drum kit at 17 and mentions that's around 1975. So I'm going for born 1957/58. Here's an article about the reformed Lurkers by their original vocalist from 2011 https://guernseypress.com/lifestyle/going-out/the-bunker/2011/10/08/i-didnt-mean-to-upset-sting/ Not much there but does indicate Howard Wall was working as a chef in Maidstone. So obviously then living down Kent way. A further interview from 2019 https://www.brightonandhovenews.org/2019/07/29/exclusive-interview-with-arturo-bassick-from-the-lurkers-and-999/ indicates that Pete Haynes "is not well physically" to perform. This article reveals that Haynes, Moore and Wall all attended Abbotsfield School in Ickenham: https://recordcollectormag.com/articles/eternal-contenders although Wall seems to have been slightly older than the other two. Stride seems to have been from that area but there's little on him biography wise.

This is true I suppose. There is an scientific explanation behind this I read somewhere. Heavy smoking affects the health of 9/10 significantly. There exists a minority who can withstand it without major implications to their health long-term. I suppose some could just be very lucky too. Any smokers on DL? I smoked for over 12 years. Impacted my health A LOT by my mid 20s but managed to kick the habit early enough to reverse the effects.

Lori And The Chameleons. Lori Lartey apparently went on to marry Martin Healy of Dead Or Alive: http://link2wales.co.uk/liverpool-a/liverpool-l/ Comment here says that she was living in or around 2009 in Oxton On The Wirral: https://thevinylvillain.wordpress.com/2009/07/05/the-class-of-79-part-20/ Suggestion she was a teenager, so she wasn't born before 1960 or after 1966 (but that's being generous if she was already an art student when spotted). I guess Lori could be her name or any permutation of Lorraine, Loraine etc etc.
