I have been compelled to make this post because a lot of new users here don't seem to understand. Don't worry I'll explain. Every thread is sacred and must serve a purpose or else this website will be deleted by jesus. I know what you must be thinking "Charles, this is a forum with no thread limit surely creating one hurts no one" which I will respond with "Wrong"! We must be extremely uptight and whiny about new threads or else jesus will delete this site. Now that you know. Behave new users.

Saturday: 86 - What I’ll be doing to this game at the end of this month. It’s been a great run but, with numbers thankfully waning and hundreds of thousands of people getting jabbed daily, we’re now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and, with a bit of luck and a following wind, there’ll be no reason to return to games like this that have been, in an odd way, a minor 30 second distraction (particularly the little history lessons) from the horrors of the actual tragedy of the past year. Cheers PB!

Why is someone who took a few photos of himself and his mates pissing about in the Arizona desert worthy of a thread of his own?

As Harry said, there is a thread for Astronauts which is perfectly adequate for any news that might arise about Buzz Aldrin. In general, people only merit a dedicated thread of their own if they are regularly newsworthy or controversial in some way. Most others fit into existing topics.

He came to our school to do a talk in the 1980s. Unfortunately it was mainly about religion and how he found God, rather than the stuff we were interested about space.

Yootha Joyce died on this date in 1980 and I can probably trace my morbid streak to my mother informing me that "she's dead now" every time George and Mildred was on the telly when I was a kid. This frightened me and fascinated me at the same time, which is probably still my attitude to death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yootha_Joyce

Those Gazza pictures are shocking. He seems to be morphing into Alex Higgins, and we all know how that ended.

Not starting a thread for her not starting a thread for her not starting a thread for her Too ill to attend her own birthday. Which, considering even a month ago she was turning up to fucking dog fashion shows, probably indicates we're on the clock. Update via, of course, the personal facebook page of Vicki Michelle from Allo Allo/70s softcore porn. So, will Lord Archer do the decent thing and show up for the funeral? Dunno, did he make it to Monica Coghlan's? Surely he was too grand for that.
