Crossposting, as this is a big one: George Segal (wiki) dead at 87. Oscar nomination for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966). Countless other roles and awards. Edit: complications of bypass surgery given as the cause.

According to Wiki the 79 year old Roger Taylor (tennis player) remains active in competition and ranks just outside the world's top 50 for singles players in his age group. Fairly sure the age groups - as with athletics - are banded in five year spans so come his 80th birthday in October his ranking may rise because he won't be playing those 75 year old youngsters any more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Taylor_(tennis)

Perfectly cast in Community, which is how millenials and Gen Z know him. I liked him in the Three Amigos, too. Never got the Fletch movies. Is it time for the SNL members to get their threads? I know we have a Dan Ackroyd thread, some are already dead, like John Belushi. But what about Bill Murray, or Eddie Murphy? Putin / Charles, you know what to do.

Chevy Chase is one of the great ornery fuckers in Hollywood history, and despite clearly being racist, sexist, homphobic and probably a few other ists, is right in every single beef he's had.

Let it stand, proudly and gloriously say I, for all the world's Roger Taylors - from Queen drummers to bathroom plumbers, from tennis players to local mayors, from Duran percussionists to literary deconstructionists! Could lead to problems fun and games if they all got ill and died at the same time.

To avoid confusion, could we have a subtitle on this thread, please, as I can think of at least three notable Roger Taylors.

Just to clear this one up @Death Impends, posted some evidence that Edward Ryan died in 1998 in the Detective thread yesterday. So Trosper was indeed the last surviving cast member when she died in 2016.

I cracked a joke about your little lovers’ tiff in the Philip thread a few days ago and got a lovely message from him saying “must you always be such a cunt?”

Haha, I liked that advert. I think I’d better post it by way of explanation.

Never heard of it tbh - looking at the transmission dates almost certainly clashed with work. H have had a look on youtube, it looks reasonable - shades of goldenballs (I think) with the contestants trying to bluff the others. I think the problem with the Mark Benton was that it was available to new customers only.

I personally don’t mind that this thread was created, but I know others are going to have words about it. Be warned

Of note, that's 3 sitting Lib Dem members of the Lords who have died in the last year. In the same timespan, just one other has retired. Evident that they're desperately trying to retain numbers in the Lords. They had about ~120 at one point in the last decade. They now have 86. Still grossly overrepresented. Noticeable that they have a lot of older peers too. Their average age must be higher compared to Labour, Conservative and Crossbench peers. No retirement home for those unlucky sods. I can imagine the briefing from Ed Davey now "No retirement home guys. We can still rejoin the EU if you all work extra hard!"

Is it really necessary to make these posts?

I have had to change my Facebook profile picture from one of me and my cat to one of me and my wife and daughter because (don't laugh). My wife and daughter both play ACNH and kept encouraging me to play so the bought me a second hand Switch and ACNH for Christmas. My wife then sent me a link for an ACNH FB group so it is easy to swap villagers but then I kept getting friend requests from ladies I did not know, not the usual sort but slightly older ladies. At first I assumed they were scammers and just ignored them but then realised they were members of the FB group.

He’s looking well. No, wait, he looks like a skin graft from Tutankhamun’s bollocks.
