8/12/20 - 20/05/21 so date of death 163 days after vaccine. Imagine if he had died of some delayed vaccine related symptom - we'd all be fucked (well 50% or so of us).

Probably worth retitling the thread "American Sitcoms". The date isn't really relevant, is it.

I do think Eric Carle would be a great addition to the Deathlist next year if he is at the starting gate. He's 92 next month.

Now it's only the top 3, Tanaka-Randon-Dos Santos. However I'd be suprised if Dos Santos doesn't go soon.

Golden Brown by the Stranglers was unknown in the States but I’m guessing made the charts in the U.K. it’s kinda 3/4 and 4/2 or something. It’s a fine mess, and a fantastic song. SC

The committee sometimes works in mysterious ways. I'm suprised that Carlos Menem or Larry King weren't picked into this year's list even though they were clearly easy hits, and Norman Lloyd would've been a near-guaranteed hit too. I doubt the claim that nobody from the committee ever checks the forums as usually the people who are picked for DL (everyone this year) already have a DL thread. Good old Dilip Kumar could be a great addition to the list in 2025

https://www.levante-emv.com/comunitat-valenciana/2021/05/25/josep-almudever-mateu-memoria-l-52218398.html Josep Almudever Mateu, International Brigades veteran dead at 101. According to wikipedia he was the last member of the International Brigades but I doubt that. Apparently the brother of Vincent Almudever?

Mark York (IMDb), American actor who starred in the U.S. version of The Office as Billy Merchant, dead at 55 after an “illness”. No other details given other than the fact it was relatively sudden.

Been told that Harry Greenway (wiki), 86, former Conservative MP for Ealing North (1979–1997) is in the final stages of dementia. Diagnosed about a decade ago. Easy scoring for the DDP... if he even makes it to next year.

No worries Banana, you are not being "that guy" (and we all know who "that guy " is). I knew Jerry was a sketchy pick going into this but I needed somebody like him to have a chance. If he's disallowed I won't complain. That being said, I sent invitations to my four uniques (Jana Bennett, Lawrence Brooks, Tim Keller and Lucile Randon) to attend a party in Gaza. It's my only shot.

So, he's creeping into some lists - Joey's on his case - but just a reminder that Ronald Blythe (b. 1922) still lives, breathes and counts as obitable. Wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Blythe

Yes, a fortnight ago in fact - Reptile is German. DI (2019) is from East coast USA iirc, Dr T (2018) was Ozzie, Meet your Maker (2006-7) was Canadian, MT Graves (2000) American. Think Otis (2003) and Sparrow (2005) were Americans too. MT Graves is the only person to have won it posthumously. He died in summer 2000, before his team won the DDP that year.
