Someone on Twitter decided to do a roundup of which celebrities had the most appearances on Blankety Blank over the years so I thought I would condense it down to those that were still breathing Lorraine Chase (28) b. 1951 Sandra Dickinson (16) b. 1948 Barry Cryer (14) b. 1935 David Hamilton (13) b. 1938 Karen Kay (13) b.1947 Aimi MacDonald (11) b.1942 Liza Goddard (11) b.1950 Dana (10) b 1951 Joe Brown (10) b.1941 Ruth Madoc (10) b.1943 Duncan Norvelle (9) b.1958 Nerys Hughes (9) b.1941 Two former Mrs Who, a member of the European Parliament and the mum of Jarimoquai number in () is the number of appearances they made These are the only survivors from the top 35

Death Notice for Philippa Mather (nee Bewicke-Copley), widow of the former Tory MP for Esher Sir Carol Mather (who died in 2006): http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/252081/mather-philippa-selina I can't quote the post of Carol Mather's death on the Forum, I think it's in a locked thread. Philippa Mather was the daughter of the 5th Baron Cromwell.

A name, which I don't believe has ever been mentioned hereabouts, but is assured a QO when she dies, is Charlotte Bingham, a list of writing credits as long as your arm, aristocracy, MI5 connections & widow of Terence Brady. She'll be 80 next year; I have no idea of her current health situation - for all I know she might be around for another 20 years, but I thought her name worthy of throwing in for consideration.

Ha, that's one of my favourite clips on the subject. In The West Wing there is also this line from the French ambassador when asked to intervene on Americas behalf because they don't want to be seen acting first for political reasons only as being called on to assist... "You are always stating you are the leaders of the free world, so... lead". The common theme? Both scenes are written by Aaron Sorkin.

https://politics.com.ph/sc-mourns-death-of-ex-justice-ruben-reyes/ Dead. Priscilla Baltazar-Padilla, another Associate Justice but one I did not include on the list due to how recently she was one (2020) and her age (63) died two weeks ago: https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/801188/former-supreme-court-justice-priscilla-baltazar-padilla-passes-away/story/

Former Wales international (1 cap v Namibia, 1990) Owain Williams has died aged 56, cancer. He had a career post-rugby as a set designer, being in charge of that department for long-running TV programme Casualty.

A while ago I did some forum searching that did not result in anything but now I've found this: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/190391647/shirley-c-cochell His wife died in December 2003, was atleast still alive back then. And the picture of the grave seems to have been added in 2019.

In terms of timing this is about the worst possible from a recognition by the Death list community. There are no live competitions that will start until advent avalanche and he will be penciled into many 2022 shortlist with the expectation of being struck through

Great thread. The rant he eventually goes on during this clip really encapsulates it for me, and @Lord Fellatio Nelson I agree, the U.K is not perfect but we aren't subjected to the insane levels of brainwashing that USains are.

We really do wonder why Sarah Harding wasn't picked by the Committee because she was the perfect pick: British, very ill, well-known personality, great media coverage... We = Annami, Book, Buffalo Phil, Prophet, RoverAndOut, Steve, The Old Crem, The Quim Reaper, TomTomTelekom and Vaagheid.
