Topic title needs to be amended for search purposes. Nightingale, not Nightengale.

Watching ch5 (uk) she appeared on one of these greatest hits programmes. FFS, didn't realise she was 81. looks older, maybe one for a reserve list.

Seems healthier than 2 months ago isn’t it

News of John Morgan's death has reached the public domain. Covid, it would appear. Still gigging a fortnight ago.

Where did you hear that? If true I think @Ulitzer95 perspective/ theory in their post is most likely what happened. The Duchess of Grafton was one of the Queens closest and oldest friends and attending her funeral would have been very important to her

There's a 9-second (new?) clip here at 0:08. Can't really judge a lot on it but looks great, sounds a bit frailish. Her 100th birthday is in a month and there will be some kind of a special movie event in which she will be joined by a couple of celebs including Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno and Carol Burnett.

The Covid passports (which I also instinctively disagree with) have probably played a small part, but this is a seat that wouldn’t have even needed a by-election if Johnson had just suspended Paterson for a bit. Instead, he tried to protect one of his own corrupt minions and it enormously backfired because he’s an idiot as well as a cunt.

Annoyingly, my nr. 23 Russell Maroon Shoatz has died and will be replaced by my nr. 1 sub. Even more annoyingly, I apparently forgot an X there. So it was not 6-6-6, but 7-6-6. Anyway, he's dead.

I think there actually was a swimming pool underneath, used for the Olympic Games. Might still be there for all I know.

She herself is notable, I suppose (though not on this side of the pond), but her contributions are nothing-of-note. Were she not the woman robbing Mr. Fripp of his dignity she wouldn't remotely hit my radar until she became death pool relevant.

I like Toyah. I used to like King Crimson in my pretentious teen years, but I'd rather listen to Toyah now.

Robert Blake (b. 1933) has been a Youtuber for the past 3 years. The videos in the web series are titled "I ain't dead yet, so stay tuned". The most recent video is from 15 December and only has the following scrolling text: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7YhBChE-fY "Hi gang, This is the old cowboy himself talking to you. I've been preoccupied with being old. In other words, trips to the doctors, trips to the hospital and this and that. But God handed the ball back to me and I'm OK. And I give thanks that I'm OK in time to give you a little holiday treat." Then Blake plugs his autobiography and writes "if I was there, I'd give you a big kiss on the mouth, boy, girl, or anything in-between". Ummm, alrighty then... He closes out thes message with "That's it for now, unless the big boss calls me to his table for all the holidays to come". While we don't know the cause for his hospitalization, and he seems to be stable for now, you can never rule out recurrence of ailment at age 88. The video preceding this one was in August, so this issue must have gone on for a few months.

She clearly has body dysmorphia. If you look at photos before any plastic surgery she was actually a pretty person. At least six boob jobs (to increase or decrease) and much botox later...

My own team has now been posted in hidden form. Keep your teams coming. I am recognizing they come in, will not look at the PMed ones. And the public ones are okay after the double entry correction.

I agree that Tom Cruise is cancer, but there is enough botox and Scientology in him for cancer to reject him.

I think a fortnight from date of publication of the list of celebrities is quite sufficient for the Committee to be notified of any changes. Especially where there are two folk of the same/similar name...one dies and the other is named, so in steps the player to say oh yeah, I meant the dead one. What, in fucking June? NAWWWWWWW! I'd say you have a limited time to ensure your team is correct otherwise you live with the team you're given. There's also plenty of eyes here on the list watching for duplications etc.

Yes, we found it out very late. Sorry, but it happens. If your first sub were to die, I'd even change the team, this late in the year - though, in the end, if you pick them you should check yourself. We know it's hard in some cases though. But I guess that's the danger of the more obscure theme teams.

I've had more people die off my main team entry than I have on my 2021 entry (all teams) all year! Maybe I should have gone down the unique picks route rather than populist. Just waiting on the next faller tbh.

Death Notice for Sir Peter Thompson aged 93: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/252751/thompson Known as the godfather of the management buyout, he led the National Freight Corporation as it became effectively privatised through an employee share buyout in 1982, one of the first privatisations of a state owned industry. As a result, Sir Peter made millions personally from the deal when the company was floated in the late 1980s on the Stock Exchange. (That's Thatcherite Conservatism folks!). He even wrote a book about it, thus squeezing every last penny from his story, called Sharing The Success: The Story Of NFC.
