I had lunch at my neighbours' house yesterday. In March they went to see their son in Topanga Canyon, LA. They showed me photos of his very nice house in the hills. And who lived there before him? Yes, that's right. Lynn Redgrave Cloris. So my bacon number to Cloris is, like, quite low.

Well, Survival was 33 years ago now! Janet Fielding did have cancer in 2012. I don't think it was ever revealed what type, but it got quite severe. However, she's been in remission for a good 5 or 6 years now to the best of my knowledge.

On this day in 1945, John Ambrose Fleming a british electrical engineer and physicist who invented the first thermionic valve or vacuum tube , died aged 95. His invention is often considered crucial to the birth and beginning of the electronics era. The vacuum tube was a key component of electronic circuits in the first half of the 20th century. Without it Radio, Television, long distance telephone networks and basic computers would not have been possible at the time.

Paul Simpson's stint at Carlisle is only contracted to the end of the season. Parachuted in with us second-bottom and straight away turned us into a form team. Even last Friday's defeat to the only goal at Walsall was a decent run out (their keeper on inspired form being the main reason we didn't get a deserved point). Worth mentioning hereabouts because Simmo's persistent ducking of the long-term question makes it clear the underlying situation at the club isn't grabbing him. His return has proven he's recovered well enough from cancer to be employable (not summat he was sure of a few weeks back). His likely availability may prompt some lower league outfit thinking themselves way better than their league position to sack the present incumbent - just sayin'

I picked both Art Rupe and Liz Sheridan, so I believe this is my first ever Daily Double? Sheridan a substitute too for a jumped-the-gun death, and I made a mental note weeks before to pick the Seinfeld moms somewhere but forgot until then. So this gave me room for one and tbf it would've gotten me points either way.

Nothing will come back on anybody. The world will keep turning, the vaccine won't start killing everybody that ever took it and you will still be a twat. Get the fucking message, NOBODY gives a shit what you think, NOBODY is interested in your links ( we could all provide links to counter the claims ) and nobody gives a flying fuck that you are on a mission to ensure that you can say 'I told you so' and walk away with that clear conscience you clearly are desperate to have. If we die, we die, if it's poison, oh well, if we have all been lied to, what's new? Take your clear conscience, your thoughts, your views and your plethora of anti vax articles, whistle blowers and youtube videos etc to Twitter or wherever you may feel more welcomed and vindicated. Here? Nobody gives a fuck and you are just spamming the fucking thread.

Oh, I have. For one thing, it's always been a popular day for weddings and it's common to hear people talk about getting married on Easter Saturday. Perhaps you are right that it's not officially named, but in common parlance that's how most people refer to it.
