4 pointsTwo things I have observed about deadpools: 1. The simplest games are the most interesting. 2. The more complicated the scoring, the more likely it is that the game will be abandoned by the gamerunner.

3 pointsi don’t read that garbage, I currently read the New York Times but the truth is that many normal people are affected by the lack of support and leadership from the current Peter Principle Government. Currently considering putting a futon in the kitchen for the winter. I

2 pointsI think the points system is interesting. Quirky. It makes the pool more unpredictable and unique. It doesn't always make sense to me, such as the penalty for getting a hit the day after one chooses them, and a similar treatment of the final hit of the pool, as there may be a last-minute hit that means further unnecessary reshuffling of the scoreboard, unless this penalty is only awarded when the pool has closed. I presume "first pick" means pick #1 of the list, and so extra points for two first picks dying in quick succession can be easily achieved by using majorly unknown hospice cases that almost guarantee quick hits and that have been all too common in this pool, thus giving an advantage. I am fully aware that some of what I have mentioned is already scheduled to change and shall probably join in in October when the revamped game starts. I wait in anticipation. I apologise if I have interpreted any of the rules wrongly, and it may confuse me less if it turns out I have.

2 pointsTadeusz Ferenc, mayor of Rzeszów, Poland from 2002 to 2021, has died at 82 (link in Polish). Ferenc oversaw the development of Rzeszów, capital of the Subcarpathian province, from a small regional center into a rapidly developing metropolis; Rzeszów is one of the fastest growing cities in a country where most cities are losing population or stagnant. Ferenc was a member of the Democratic Left Alliance and it was practically a miracle that he remained in power for so long in Poland's most conservative province. His leadership proved popular enough that he was succeeded by a fellow leftist.

1 pointwell after reading your comments this game will end on 31 of august. A new and fresh game will open on the first of October and you'll have a month to enter your team of 20 celebrities with 3 subs to replace each pick dying. The subs won't count for any point if they die before their apparence on the list. Also, I'm wondering : does the point system please you or do you think it needs to be simpler ? I thought maybe it would be better to use the simplest system just like one death = one point no matter how and when it happens. Let me know what you think. Finally, a winner will be declared. Book said it well : the game was never closed. You can choose to ignore the winner if you want and think of this game as a test version. I said in a previous post in this game that I was considering this game as a trial one before the official and well-rounded one would come up. That doesn't mean there won't be a winner. I'll make a recap of the hits that happened while I was busy. Thanks a lot for your answers !

1 pointI'm sure the government will step in with subsidies eventually. Over here in Indonesia they pay 16% of the entire government budget for the year for fuel subsidies. From time to time they try to take away the subsidies, but invariably crowds of 10,000+ march on parliament and the whole place grinds to a halt, so then they back down and keep them. People need to get off their arses and protest!

1 pointOn this day in 2009 , american writer, investigative journalist and producer Dominick Dunne died aged 83. His daughter actress Dominique Dunne was murdered in 1982. This opened his eyes and created passionate interest in the different ways in America that wealth can protect people from legal consequences. He started to write and speak to the media, ,especially in his regular contributions to Vanity Fair magazine, a lot about how those who are wealthy and part of high society interact with the judicial and legal system in the US. He became quite well known for not being shy about critiquing the rich and famously in his articles for Vanity Fair.

1 pointThanks for your post. You're now the third unconnected person that's recommended this film, which means it's passed my arbitrary scoring system. (Once is a fluke, twice a coincidence, thrice is a pattern.) I now have to figure out how to access it because the same arbitrary system forbids me to watch anything else until this one is checked off the list. Providing it passes the next test. The 10 minute rule. Warmest Regards!

1 pointUpdated the list. The oldest male royal, excluding Saudi nobodies who you can't find any information online, is probably now either Sheikh Salem al-Ali al-Sabah or Sheikh Tahnoun bin M. Both born in 1926, but as far as I know their exact birthdates aren't known...Kuwait's Sheikh Salem was rumored dead in October 2020 when he was ill and has been wheelchairbound for over a decade. Tahnoun of the UAE is doing fine and has a twitter account.
