Don’t be silly. Parodying a name is not racist. There are pun worthy names in all languages, English included. Most of the names that feature in the Moniker thread are western names. Also, can I just point out he was head of a brutal communist regime and deserves parody? We’re not going heavy on the Chinese people. They didn’t even choose him… because they don’t even get a true democratic vote.

Imagine expecting some morals/manners from a site that likes to predict when celebrities are going to die. If you are offended by a joke, then just imagine being a person on the death list. It's a joke. Get over it.

Pete Burns died on this day 6 years ago, aged 57. In 1979, Burns formed the band Nightmares in Wax. After replacing some band members, the band was renamed to "Dead or Alive" the following year. Dead or Alive would achieve mainstream success in the mid-1980s with a cover of KC and the Sunshine Band's "That's The Way (I Like It)" in 1984, and in 1985, their signature song "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)". The latter peaked at number one on the British, Irish, and Canadian charts, and was later sampled in Flo Rida's "Right Round" in 2009. Burns was known for sparking outrage during television appearances. In 2003, Burns cursed while giving his opinion on the Michael Jackson trial, which was live. The BBC apologized for this event. In 2006, Burns participated in the fourth season of the British version of Celebrity Big Brother, making it to the finale and finishing in fifth place of the six finalists. While on the show, Burns angered animal rights activists when he said that his fur coat was made of gorilla skin- police confiscated the coat, and found it was made with colobus monkey fur that was imported in the 1930s (before it became illegal to import in 1975). In later years, Burns was known for having many plastic surgeries, leading to an androgynous and/or feminine look. Burns died of a sudden heart attack. One of his last public appearances was in May of that year, in which tabloids stated he looked "bloated" and "disheveled" (seen below).

Everett McGill, American character actor who made his debut film appearance in the war film "Yanks" in 1979, and probably best known for his role as Big Ed Hurley in the giant success and popular television series "Twin Peaks", is 77 today. He retired from acting in 1999, but returned in the 2017 "Twin Peaks" revival. Joyce Randolph, American actress who rose to fame when she played the role of Trixie Norton in the 1950s television series "The Honeymooners", is 98 today. Randolph is the only surviving cast member of one of the most beloved television shows of all time.

tbh I disagree. Numerical advantage only works if you have tactical advantage and knowledge to go alongside it, as Russia itself proved in Finland and Afghanistan. Otherwise it's just sending cannon fodder mooks to run up the Grim Reaper's score. The little training these men are getting attests to that too - most of them going from the streets to the heart of war within a week and will die or surrender unless very lucky or a natural soldier, both of which are rare attributes. Ukraine would do a deal today, because all they want is Russian troops out of Ukrainian territory. Putin would lose too much face from that, so we're left at stalemate. Given the number of assassins Putin continues to send after Zelensky, you can see why he might not been keen on a deal where the compromise is him being dead. Where Putin's Russian troops have worked best is in actions like in Georgia, a quick blitzkrieg to overwhelm the state, and back home in time for the postcards. When they get bogged down, as here, it gets messy. But you are correct, I do not believe Putin suffers internal issues. He spent 20 years bumping off his rivals, and his local police/troops in Moscow are loyal to him. Also, he knows the tricks of the KGB, hence he never meets people close enough to do anything to him. Afghanistan was a muddy graveyard until Brezhnev and his cartel were dead. Ukraine might well be the same.

According to Wiki he is 75 and not 73 years old. I also believe, that he would definitely become an Obit. he is one of the Top 100 NFL Players of all time, but still not sure if he`s deathlisty enough for the committee. As I recall we have never had before anyone from the NHL or NFL in official Deathlist.
