He did manage to vote, he died two days later! He said that he felt a bit ill so he got to vote at home. Now that Shyam Saran Negi is dead, only Saalumarada Thimmakka, Fauja Singh and Pappammal remaining from the notable Indians born in the 1910s. Except that they're all fraudsters and over 15 years younger than what they claim to be. The ones actually born in the 1910s are all dead, 1920 still has Mani Kumar Chetri, Thanga Darlong, C. R. Rao and Pravrajika Bhaktiprana. Not sure about Chetri, but the others seem very frail.

I have just recently discovered that two Shuttle-era astronauts don't seem to be in the best of health and who you might want to keep on your radar. Samuel Durrance was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease a year ago and in recent photos he is definitely frail and appears to only be able to walk short distances, using a wheelchair otherwise. Samuel is a payload specialist who flew on two Shuttle missions. John Blaha has become rather frail now and doesn't plan on being in many events anymore due to this, according to a friend in one of my space chat groups who met and spoke with him recently. John flew on several Shuttle missions and most notably spent 4 months in space aboard the Mir space station. I'm not too sure on Durrance getting an obit but then again Millie Hughes-Fulford and Lodewjik Van Den Berg got obits and they are both payload specialists. John Blaha on the other hand would definitely get obits. The early shuttle-era astronauts are definitely an aging bunch, I plan on doing a detailed investigation on their status soon and will update you when I have finished it.

An interesting piece of trivia in the music world is that Billie Eilish was the first person born in the 21st century to get to no.1 on the UK single charts. Since this forum has considerable knowledge of birth and death dates, I’d be fascinated to delve deeper and find out the first people born in each year and decade to score a no.1 single ever since the charts were first introduced in 1952. All the more poignant since the 14th of this month will mark 70 years to the date when it all began. If any members could help me complete the list below, that would be much appreciated. I will make edits in due course. I liked rock and roll part 2, I thought the guitar noise was glorious at the time. Mind you it's pretty much an instrumental anyway which might help and I'm not certain I really had much in the way of critical faculties yet (some will argue I still don't), I was still in shock from the first time I'd put a pair of headphones on and heard these people in the middle of my head.

Milia Paidiou, oldest person from Cyprus, is 110 today. Pictured in 2018. Interesting birthday as she's the first supercentenarian from Cyprus. Malta's first supercentenarian Maria Farrugia is also currently living, reached 110 in March this year
