Hmm, it appears a Eurovision game may not have as much uptake. I’d be bang up for it but I’d also be happy with the 60s.

Bob Hoskins died on this day 9 years ago, aged 71. - Hoskins' breakout role was as Harold Shand in 1980's The Long Good Friday, for which he was nominated for a BAFTA. He would be further nominated for The Honorary Consul (as Colonel Perez), and won one as George in 1986's Mona Lisa. - In 1988, Hoskins starred in Who Framed Roger Rabbit as Eddie Valiant (above), in which he was nominated for a Saturn Award. - Hoskins stated that his worst role was as Mario in the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie: "It was a fuckin' nightmare. The whole experience was a nightmare. It had a husband-and-wife team directing, whose arrogance had been mistaken for talent. After so many weeks their own agent told them to get off the set! Fuckin' nightmare. Fuckin' idiots." - While he wasn't nominated for any Razzies for the first Mario movie, he was nominated for Worst Supporting Actor in 2006 for his role as Odin in Son of the Mask: - Besides these roles, he was also known for Mr. Smee in Hook, Boris the goose in Balto, J. Edgar Hoover in Nixon, and Mr. Fezziwig in the 2009 motion-capture A Christmas Carol. - Hoskins' final role was as Muir in Snow White and the Huntsman in 2012- that year, he announced his retirement, as he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease the previous year. Hoskins died from a bout of pneumonia (not sure if it was related to the disease).

The KoS poll found that the No.1 hits of the 60s had the second most votes. ESC of course would fit well at the moment. Here, however, I would prefer the ESC winners rather than the UK entries of all years. I've looked up all the UK entries on Wikipedia and am only familiar with a few, the winners are more familiar to me. We can ask all the players: Which KoS should be played after the 90s? - 60s No.1 hits - ESC winning songs - ESC UK entries So... ESC winners for me.

Her whole debut album is still one of my favorites of all time; I like every single song on it, still high quality!

I voted 90s for continuity but would love the 60s at some point as a nostalgia trip, not so keen on Eurovision

Just because there are pro-choice conservatives out there doesn't mean anyone like that will be getting on the Supreme Court. Trying to get rid of Roe v Wade is one of the biggest obsessions of the Court-fixated conservatives, hence the candidates spoonfed to Trump all being in that mold.

Maggie Jones. I was trying to think of the 4th myself but I'd forgotten about Bill Tarmey! she died back in 2009. Wow!! Feels more recent than that. In that case I've got no idea who Guest Guest is talking about!!

While I agree that playing the same character forever doesn't show a wide acting range, being purely pragmatic it makes sense to stay in a regular well-paid job that you enjoy doing for as long as possible for security reasons.Anyway, Deirdre was involved in most of the best Corrie storylines I can remember - Rovers lorry crash where Tracey was missing, Ken/Mike affair, the whole Samir thing, and going to prison. She'll be missed. Possibly not the finest example to be fair. That was a cringing plot and the fella that played Samir was so wooden it looked like somebody had left a fence on the Street. Hey, her specs live on, right? I still watched it in those days. Was it ever explained why she pronounced his name "Shamir" for ages and then suddenly started calling him "Samir"? Ha! Yes, quite right Toastie, mind you what did he call her? Deeeeeeeeeeeerrdreeeeeeeeeeee!! All Bollocks, I mean, he didn't even fleece her did he!!!!
