Yep, I do agree. Kaczynski is the only « miss » here but still, it’s disappointing… the fact that Carter has outlived Berlusconi is quite wild though

This past few week has been good for overdue deaths of bad people. Rolf Harris, Pat Robertson, Ted Kaczynski and now Silvio

There seems to have been a little flurry of activity over the past week which has shaken up the leaderboard, so let's have an update. Firstly we have the two backdated deaths to note: 1st April: Albert Ndele 11th April: Emlain Kabua And three more in the past week: 6th June: Francoise Gilot 6th June: Noreen Nash 11th June: Ted Kacsynski And with that, @theoldladyascends from 3rd place to 1st. She currently leads by 2 hits,, but that will of course drop down to 1 in a few days time. She is 7 picks down to get to that score, but still has a Joker to play. @Torva Messorand @Wormfarmermake up the rest of the top-3, with 6 and 5 hits respectively, but both have played their Joker. Meanwhile, current champion, and twice winner @Death Impendslurks ominously in 4th place with 5 down, and with the Joker still to play. I think we have all seen this show before! Here is the top-10. Full Scoreboard on Page 1. Let me know if I've missed anyone. You all know the drill by now! The Old Lady (751 points) 7 hits [Betty Boothroyd, Francoise Gilot, Gianluca Vialli, Mary Quant, Rolf Harris, Ted Kaczynski, Tina Turner] Torva Messor (586 points) 6 hits [Bernard Kalb, Bert I. Gordon*, Carole Cook, Francoise Gilot, Menahem Pressler, Noreen Nash] Wormfarmer (553 points) 5 hits [AL Jaffee*, Ben Ferencs, Bill Butler, Gianluca Vialli, Ted Kaczynski] Death Impends (514 points) 5 hits [Bert I Gordon, Billy Graham, Ed Ames, Francoise Gilot, Lucille Randon] Buffalo Phil (507 points) 7 hits [Ben Ferencs, Bill Butler, Gianluca Vialli, Guido Gorgatti, Hazel McCallion, Lucille Randon, Tim Keller] Hell (446 points) 5 hits [Chaim Topol, Gianluca Vialli, Rolf Harris, Ryiuchi Sakamoto, Ted Kaczynski] An Fear Beag (439 points) 6 hits [Gianluca Vialli, Lucille Randon, Mary Quant, Nigel Lawson, Ryiuchi Sakamoto, Tim Keller] Thatcher (438 points) 4 hits [Gianluca Vialli, Gina Lollobrigida, Rolf Harris*, Ted Kaczynski] Wannamaker (419 points) 6 hits [Frank McGarvey, King Constantine, Pervez Musharraf, Rolf Harris, Ryiuchi Sakamoto, Ted Kaczynski] The Old Crem (322 points) 5 hits [Frank McGarvey, Gianluca Vialli, Mary Quant, Rolf Harris, Ryiuchi Sakamoto]

I thought JJF would smash this but this is a much tougher group. I am still shocked by The Beatles snobbery that is on display here Still not sure that the top five is right but it is getting harder to down vote things

And to think the Brits were celebrating The Queen's Platinum Jubilee last year. Compared to Henry's 835 years on the throne, Elizabeth had barely just begun!

Let's tidy up a loose end by scoring the death of John Morris, a unique hit for @Bibliogryphon. Just as well he was unique, as he qualified for no other bonuses other than a penalty for having written an autobiography. As a result Biblio only moves marginally up the table. JOHN MORRIS, LORD ABERAVON +2 Base Point +5 Unique pick in this game. -2 (Hidden Bonus No. 10: "-2 if the pick has written an autobiography.) +5 TOTAL POINTS Hits for: Bibliogryphon (Bonus +1 Position 23 on list) GCREPTILE +60 4 Hits BOOK +53 4 Hits GREAT UNCLE BULGARIA +44 5 Hits THE OLD LADY +43 3 Hits THEREWILLBEDEATHS7 +38 5 Hits AN FEAR BEAG +36 3 Hits BIBLIOGRYPHON +34 4 Hits WANNAMAKER +34 3 Hits BUFFALO PHIL +31 4 Hits CAPTAIN CHORIZO +26 4 Hits MARINISIA +24 2 Hits TOAST +23 3Hits TORVA MESSOR +22 3 Hits LIZ LEMON +22 2 Hits FUNERALOPOLIS +21 3 Hits THE UNKNOWN MAN +21 3 Hits PERHAPS +18 4 Hits PEDRO67 +16 2 Hits MSC +15 3 Hits CAPTAIN HEMLOCK +15 3 Hits THE OLD CREM +13 2 Hits TQR +11 2 Hits TRACY +6 2 Hits MRS PEDRO +6 1 Hit GOOSEBERRY CRUMBLE +4 1 Hit
