5 pointsI pondered with ejaculates and barebacked before opting for a word with some class instead. I hope to see some slutty words chosen though!

3 pointsWilford Brimley died on this day 3 years ago, aged 85. - Before entering acting, Brimley was a Marine, a bodyguard for Howard Hughes, and a rancher. His acting career began in 1967 as a stuntman in Western films. - Brimley's breakout role came in 1982's The Thing as the senior biologist, and saw further success in 1985 with Cocoon- in the latter, he was only 50 years old, and over 20 years younger than his fellow leads. - Brimley was a close friend of Robert Duvall, who got him cast in the 1983 film Tender Mercies alongside him. Both would often clash with the film's director during its production. - Brimley was also known for appearing in commercials, which included Quaker Oats cereal and Liberty Medical. He had become the latter's spokesman due to being diagnosed with diabetes in 1979, and was known for his unusual pronunciation of the disease (which would become an Internet meme in the late 2000s):

1 pointI see what you did there (I believe it’s ‘nowhere’ but who cares). iPhone won’t allow handclap emoji so add a few.

1 pointComprehensive list of Brazilian players who suffered from dementia dated 2016. I think only 2 players on the list are still alive: João "Zico" Dias, and Nair Jose da Silva. No wiki page for Zico but has a Zerozero profile. Nair Jose strangely only has Polish wiki page despite never playing in Europe.

1 pointIt wouldn’t be too much of a spoiler to just list the words in play (without saying who picked what) to avoid duplicate entries, would it?

1 pointI was expecting there to be some news that prompted this thread creation. There is no reason to expect Alan Price will croak any sooner than any other 60s musicians of the same age.

1 pointRabin Deb saying he's "stable and improving" didn't age well as he's now critical on invasive ventilation...apparently his creatinine levels are getting higher, his kidneys are failing. Edit: There's some new information - apparently he suffers from the respiratory pump failure (also known as respiratory failure type II, large amount of cases caused by COPD that he has) bilateral pneumonia, tracheitis and "kidney malfunction". He's on 100% ventilator support but "haemodynamically stable".
