Walt Brown's wife Beverly Isbell (Brown) has a facebook account and while Walt's still alive he's had a few health troubles...apparently in 2006 he "fell from a huge tow truck cab", "broke his shoulder, arm, hips and pelvis" and "needed multiple surgeries" complicated by infections, c-diff and pneumonia bouts, in 2014 he had a "close call" and in 2021 he was on oxygen with god knows what. He's also been suffering from some type of cancer for years... However, would he get even local press mentions when he dies? I'm not quite familiar with these types of picks. Edit: Here's the guy in April 2021. He apparently recovered from that illness quite well and participated in some protests in 2022, but I can't find images anywhere. Reminds me of (immortals lister and Kuwaiti guy) Sheikh Salem, both were in critical conditions 16 years ago, both battling serious ailments since, both 97 years old and...both quite large in size earlier in life.

Another busy weekend on the managerial merry-go-round, seems to be at least a couple a weekend at the moment! The big news in this game was that Gareth Ainsworth was finally put out of his misery at QPR after a 6th defeat in a row and 9 games without a win left them 22nd in the Championship table and 6 points from safety. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67043438 As @Bibliogryphon says, seems a little bit harsh after they gave the all-dominant Leicester a scare, only losing by a single goal despite being down to 10 men for a significant portion of the game. But, that said, they had very little possession and were apparently outplayed for the majority and the writing's felt on the wall since the mighty Blackburn walloped them 4-0 in their own backyard earlier in the month. Ainsworth's demise was a hit for 4 players, with me (@RoverAndOut), @wannamaker @BuffaloPhil and @Sly Ronnie all scoring! This is yet another hit for the managerial assassin that is Sly Ronnie, who moves onto 9 hits and is just one away from halfway - and we're not even into November yet! Wannamaker gets a 5th hit, I get a 4th hit and Buffalo Phil gets a second hit in a row to move out of last place with his 3rd hit!!! Told you it can turn around quickly! Elsewhere, Steven MacLean was sacked by winless St Johnstone, who find themselves 5 points adrift at the bottom of the SPL. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67246397 MacLean probably didn't help his case when he said his players should be "ashamed of their performance" after their 4-0 loss to St Mirren on Saturday (although he probably wasn't wrong!). He provides me with a second hit of the weekend, and a unique one at that, which moves me onto 5 as well! But, not so fast, because today has seen Nigel Pearson rather harshly done away with by Bristol City, with the side 15th in the Championship having lost 2-0 to Cardiff on Saturday. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67256945 This is despite him overseeing a slashing in the wage bill, selling players on for significant sums of money that haven't been reinvested into the squad, struggling with his health due to an undiagnosed neurological issue, which is causing him to use crutches at the moment AND having the backing of the fans, which is arguably the most difficult thing to manage of all! Nevertheless, the demise of the second-longest serving manager in the Championship gives Wannamaker his second hit of the weekend and moves him into second place outright on 6! There was also a missed opportunity this weekend, as Grimsby Town parted company with Paul Hurst after their defeat to Doncaster left them 21st in League 2, with only 1 win in their past 10 matches.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67251624 He becomes the 6th manager of the 92 EPL and EFL clubs to be sacked not to be picked in this game. Updated Scoreboard Sly Ronnie - 9 Wannamaker - 6 Great Uncle Bulgaria, Bibliogryphon, Lady Fiona, Rover and Out - 5 Buffalo Phil - 3 MariNisia, Commtech Sio Bibble, Diego, Maryportfuncity - 2

Not really the place for it, but another one I couldn't get was The Royle Family. Not one titter from me. There wasn't a laugh in it in my opinion.

I believe I feel the same way about The Office (or any Gervais written/starring television/film) and The In-Betweeners/Friday Night Dinner. All subjective.

Easily the best actor of the Friends sextuplets. I remember between a season of Friends ending to the next one starting he went from being relatively overweight, I'd say about 15 stone down to about 10 stone in a matter of months (That's a 70lbs loss for any US readers, 30kg for our Euro friends). Obviously a cocaine and no food crash diet, it's the most drastic weight loss I've ever seen on any actor in such a short space of time.

King Gustaf V of Sweden died on this day 73 years ago, aged 92. - Gustaf was the son of King Oscar II, and became king upon his death in 1907. Gustaf opted not to have a coronation, and his precedent stands in the Swedish monarchy to this day (with his son and great-grandson successors). - Gustaf would quickly reform the Swedish monarchy in that he gave the country's parliament more power, albeit he wanted to handpick his own government. This was compromised by allowing Gustaf to nominate ministers, but the Swedish Parliament needed to have a vote whether to accept or reject them. - Gustaf was an avid tennis player, often competing in tournaments under the pseudonym "Mr. G". Having first seen the sport on a trip to the UK in 1876, he founded Sweden's first tennis club once he got back home. - Gustaf sympathized with Germany during both World Wars due to his wife Victoria having hailed from there. He infamously tried to send a congratulatory letter to Hitler for his persecution of communists, but the Prime Minister stopped it from happening. He did, however, try to convince him to stop persecuting Jews (Gustaf was friends with famous Jewish tennis player Daniel Prenn). - There have been rumors that Gustaf was bisexual, allegedly having had sexual relations with a man named Kurt Haijby between 1936 and 1947 (his wife had died in 1930). - Gustaf was Sweden's oldest king, and reigned for 43 years. He was succeeded by his son Gustaf VI Adolf. - In popular culture, Gustaf was mentioned in Cab Calloway's signature song "Minnie the Moocher" (released in 1931): "She had a dream about the king of Sweden He gave her things, that she was needin' He gave her a home built of gold and steel A diamond car, with the platinum wheels"

Quite shocked actually. Makes me think of my own mortality. I'm only 1 month older than he was.....( minus drug and alcohol problems....)

Drugs cause heart issues, which can eventually lead to heart attacks. They don't recommend you use a hot tub or jacuzzi if you have a heart condition - for a damn good reason too.

Drowned in hot tub, no drugs or foul play suspected apparently. This death is like Robin Williams-level of shocking.

The word originates from your side of the pond specifically Warren G. Harding's 1920 Presidential campaign, it did exist before but only as a obscure mathematical term. It is theorised that his presidential slogan was actually meant to be 'Return to normality' but when saying it Harding misspoke and consequently the word normalcy entered the public consciousness.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone orbiting Ariana's life who is doing fine. They're either an accused nonce (C0lleen Ball1nger); died young (Mac Miller, Naya Rivera, Manchester bombing); wrote a tell-all about their sexual abuse on set and eating disorder (co-star Jennette McCurdy); in rehab after crashing a car through a house (P3t3 Davids0n); on "medical leave" from fashion week for the next several months (model B3lla Had1d); wrote/starred in a sexual exploitative television show that seemed to be saying all the quiet parts in Hollywood outloud (the W33knd). Her manager is Sc00ter Braun who also manages Just1n B1eber and Demi L0vat0. There's that alleged affair with the tv host who also went on "medical leave" for tripping and falling a few times; that other alleged affair with the actor whose girlfriend committed suicide and was sued by her family. A lot of the above are drug-related incidents. Ariana herself has alopecia (that ponytail is a clip-on) and lanugo (fuzzy hair on skin), and is about to have her first major starring role, which won't come out until November 2024. Her co-star in that is her affair partner, whose family apparently found out today via tmz that he's left his <1 year old and wife. I suspect she takes "medical leave" prior. I think she's worthy to keep track of for a young person. This is a 30 year old woman:

This pointless thread is basically nothing more than a Perez Hilton "all the latest gossip on" column. She has no major health issues and there is no curse. Most of the people around her are fine. What happened DeathList? You used to be cool.

Steve Solari, a mainstay of Texas A&M’s dominating Wrecking Crew defenses of the early 1990s, has passed away, according to his family. Solari helped the Wrecking Crew lead the Southwest Conference in all four defensive categories for three straight seasons from 1991-93, which was a first in the long history of the old SWC. A product of Willowridge High School in Sugar Land, Texas, he made 26 starts in three seasons at Texas A&M after transferring from Purdue University. He helped the Aggies lead the nation in total defense and pass defense as a sophomore in 1991 and in pass efficiency defense in 1993 as a senior. SC
