9 pointsThe Teams and Picks masterlists are now up on Page 1. Consolation points to the pickers of gun-jumpers Jimmy Carter, Johnnie Walker, Arnold Ruutel, and Tomiko Itooka have been dished out with the points values corresponding to the cadaver's age divided by 100 (1 point for Carter, .79 for Walker, .96 for Ruutel, 1.16 for Itooka). And the first proper 2025 casualty is Agnes Keleti, the Hungarian Olympic gymnast who won various gold medals in the 50s. She survived the Holocaust and was the longest-lived gold medal Olympian, and in a final sign of her stern stuff she was initially on the mend from a critical condition before the gravity of being a critically ill 103-year-old kicked in. Several teams vault upward: Book 45 points, Banana and drol 40, Toast 30, and Bobytomi and Perhaps their first sub for 25. Additionally, Jytte Abildstrom and Richard B. Hays are also picks but I've yet to see QOs. Should they come, they'll be in the next update. A very early first scoreboard already has over half the competition on the scoreboard, even if a lot of it is peanuts in value courtesy of the peanut man: 1. Book 45 2. drol 41 3. Banana 40 4. Toast 30 5. Bobytomi 26.98 6. Perhaps 26 7. justonecornetto 2.16 8. theoldlady 1.79 =9. arghton 1 =9. Bibliogryphon 1 =9. BuffaloPhil 1 =9. diego 1 =9. Dying Probably 1 =9. 5 pointsI know that I've been looking a bit rough after the Christmas festivities, but that pick seems a touch harsh.

4 pointsRepurposed this thread so it can just be a general discussion thread for everything to do with KoS games, past and future. The hall of fame and list of past games are on the thread OP. If a poll is needed, I can start a new one on that post.

4 pointsDamn good job. Damn good bloody good damn good job. Dark, pulsating classic with that unmistakeable 90s vibe makes this a very satisfying winner, even if I'd personally have preferred that epic Sisters Of Mercy track.

3 pointsDon't worry - if you make yourself look stupid, you will be in very good company in this pool - I don't think anyone would even notice . And look on the bright side - they wont be using your name for the next 20 years as an eponym for a bad beating, as the unfortunate Squonk has already nailed that one.

3 pointsLifelong Insomnia fan, these days I really like the live versions. Was really torn up when Maxi Jazz died a couple years ago,

3 pointsI prefer it too, though I do like both. My sister was never that much of a music fan historically or at least not as driven by hi-fi mania as I was. She finally suggested for a christmas present an update to her 10 year old 10 quid computer speakers that she had used for everything - watching tv on the same device. So whilst not particulary a fan of soundbars (I really am a sad hi-fi nerd) I thought it appropriate in this case and bought her one of those bar/sub combo's. (we struggle yearly at our age, most things in the xmas present price range that you want you already bought, why wouldn't you have?). The point of this long and rambling anecdote that means nothing to anyone? We were testing it out, and she loved 'Temple of Love' much against my expectations (I imagined her a 'chicken korma' afficionado - perhaps unjustly, appropriate apologies to LadyFiona). Even agreed that a good track was raised to the level of truly great by the addition of Ofra Haza. Moral? I'm a berk who doesn't even really know my sister after all this time.

2 pointsThe other songs are good, but... Insomnia was my favourite song aged 6. The Monster Mix, the big lad, not the radio edit. I memorised all 8⅔ minutes and honestly I responded to it quite similarly to In the Air Tonight, one of my other favourites when I was 6 (thanks, Cadbury). Loves a beat drop. They both build up for what seems like forever but justify it every time. I find the rap entering more than 5 minutes into the track to be quite subversive. It's on my Mount Rushmore of 90s dance along with, I want to say, Chicane – Saltwater and Orbital – Halcyon and On and On. The 4th slot's up for debate.

2 pointsThe only explanation I can think of is he's changed his name to Kekius Maximus because he has a Dickius Minimus.
