I had this argument with a former colleague about the football discussion s that Sky used to hold daily. This sort of speculation is just filling column inches. Look how many pages we have filled without any substantial evidence.

“no terminally ill picks.” Terminal cancer is a terminal illness.

Out of all the people on this year's list, I'd say it's either Akihito or Khamenei who's the last man standing.

They need to expunge that wink from the records. It has duly been reclassified as a face mask adjustment.

They're just guessing. Trying to make out they know more than they do, but there's nothing new there.

As I've said before, I don't rate Royal pundits. They're not close to the Royal family so their real time insight isn't worth much.

That was his guess based on his historical medical record, yes. I've asked several people who ought to know what exactly is the matter with him. None of them have any insightful info. Which leads me to two lines of thought: 1) He is considerable worse than is being suggested and it's been hushed up very well. 2) It's nothing serious because if it was, it would be hot gossip amongst those "in the know". I'm inclined to think the latter is the case. It compliments the fact that William said he's fine, the walking into the hospital unaided/"in good spirits" statement and the fact Charles left London after a quick visit, but I know as much as the rest of you in reality.

Even if he comes out how he leaves will be telling IMO. If we actually see him walk out like with previous hospitalisations he's probably ok for a while yet.

The announcement seems a bit out of the blue. Maybe one of them has been given bad news and they're just getting their affairs in order. It seems to be what the video is alluding to with only one of them walking off into the sunset.

I'd forgotten about that report. It is a good point, but it means that either Charles has broken the Gov't guidance on visiting relatives in hospital (even if Philip asked him to), or Philip is in a worse state than we're being told about. I can imagine the former being true, but I'm still inclined to suspect it's the latter. The Royal Family can't break the Government Guidelines because they don't apply to them. Their mother and grandmother owns the gaff.

Fred Ketchen, whose career saw him become a bank executive, trader and media commentator, has died. He was 85. Ketchen passed about two weeks ago, but no obit. Gave up, but checked again today and see the media finally picked up on it. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-fred-ketchen-former-scotiabank-executive-and-tsx-chair-dies-at-85/
