The easiest way to deal with this would be to make mediamass a swearword in the swear filter on the old scunthorpe filter style swear filter so that all links to that site break.... @Paul Bearer@Death Impends Can we please do this?

Autumn is a great time for going to gigs. I'm off to see The Horrors on October 24th, The Killers at the start of November and Howard Jones at the end of November. All at different venues in Birmingham.

I saw that picture last week, with a lot cut out. Right of Benedict (from our point of view) is his older brother. To his left is the president of Bavaria. It looks like Benedict is just an old person, no real health issues. That makes me think that his resignation had other reasons.

The British Empire brought civilization to the rest of the planet! What's wrong with slavery? The Bible supports it! Does the bible support slavery??? I thought the whole point of the Bible (well Old Testament) is about the Jews escaping from slavery, would have been a much shorter book had they been happy in their bondage lmao The Bible also teaches tolerance of others, hmmm.....

Not sure which thread I should put this in but I'll put it here. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/hersh-wolch-dead-heart-attack-1.4208937 Hersh Wolch, who was a "passionate, tenacious" defender of the wrongly convicted, has died of a heart attack at age 77 He was most famous for clearing David Milgaard of the wrongly convicted murder which I will link at the bottom of the post. He helped convict the real killer, Larry Fisher. He was also involved in numerous other cases such as Steven Truscott. Wiki for Hersh: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hersh_Wolch Wiki for Milgaard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Milgaard Also, I'd just like to note that David Milgaard is the subject of one of Tragically Hips' most famous songs, Wheat Kings. David Milgaard is a very interesting story for sure.

Inclined to say Brucie, though lamentably he's almost as likely to do a and stick around for a thousand years.

Until they try again..... These vultures never give up. Personally, I'm liberal minded but McCain is one of the lesser evils in the GOP. I think he is still a man of honor unlike turtleface (McConnell), babyface Ryan) and punchable face (Cruz) and everyone who is only there to line their pockets. McCain personally does not believe Trump's wealthcare bill will go trough.

Sigh. I guess that it's a normal mistake for newer members to post the media mass article. But can we make a notice that the media mass articles are all fake and only exist to bring traffic to their website?

Those Clinton Deathlists remind me of the guy who wrote that book on the Kennedy assassination. Apparently it was the CIA, and they bumped off a 100 people, including Mafia dons and politicians, to keep the secret. This book came out in the 70s, and the guy is still alive. Spot the logical fail! I've forgotten his name, Maryport might remember it.

It would be, although since Francis himself is turning 81 this year (and still obliged to work, unlike most other octagenarians), it would not be that much of a surprise. Relieved of the stress of the papacy, Benedict can enjoy a quiet retirement, while any major paedophila scandal could bring about a fatal stroke/heart attack for Francis.
