OK on a serious note, she looks like any lady that age. Not sure why that photo stirs up 'Bitch gotta be on Drop 40' posts, but maybe a few here need to actually go visit granny in the Old Folkie's Home, prior to the inheritance squabble, to see what an aging person looks like. SC

If it was the wife of a dead us president you wouldn't complain.Fact is she has outlived almost all her generation so not many people remember her.Still significant.

Leah in the lead-up to Christmas-Don't forget that last year we had quite a scalps over Christmas Fortnight so there could 2-3 more hits.

I think it's better if a person can be picked by several people. Lest it turns into a game of musical chairs.

Hey, with their songs including When I'm Gone, If I Make it through December, To Say Goodbye and I'm Gonna Be (on the DDP),it was as if she was trying to give us a clue.

There's only one hit this time, but he is a hit that could be very significant in the coming weeks... King Michael was one of those people who was considered a dead cert, and as such, he will be receiving a lot of points. He will start out with 6 points: the basic point, the three drop 40 points, and the 2 head of state points. The winner of extra bonuses today are Pedro who had him at spot #35, Bibliogryphon who had him at spot #15, Death Impends who jokered him, and RishCast who had him at spot #8. And just like that, we have a new leader all due to the fact that he jokered him! Here are the scores: 1st - Death Impends - 114 points 2nd - Captain Chorizo - 113 points 3rd - RadGuy - 102 points 4th - msc - 101 points 5th - Dead Cow - 90 points 6th - Unknown Man - 88 points 7th= - Bibliogryphon - 85 points 7th= - Pedro67 - 85 points 9th - Shaun of the Dead - 82 points 10th - RishCast - 58 points 11th - YoungWilz - 37 points 12th - Gooseberry Crumble - 32 points 13th - joeyruss - 30 point 14th - Cat O'Falk - minus 1 point

Hmm, I was thinking of 1st being their lifetime achivement (Deathlist wise) spot, but you're right, it tends to be a regular AND/OR likely to go. So Bush Sr then Kirk or Rev Billy imo. None of the new names, though I could see McCain maybe being in the top 5.

You'd rather have some old French guy in with no known health issues than the lovely Jill who has sadly been in a care home for 3 years now due to her advanced Alzheimers? It is true that old people die but just picking random old people is just a shit way to select a death list.

I bet 1000 people in the U.S. alone are. Was this supposed to seriously be of interest on this site? I was admitted to a hospital in 2000 for the same. Managed to survive, apparently the Gods wanted me to come here 17 years later and chastise your posts, so I appease them today. SC

Not exactly a holiday, but currently back in the homeland that is Scotland to welcome my first grandson. Taking a break from running around like a maniac looking for clothes for him. He's a bit on the small side. Visiting him again tonight with my ex.

Nice thread revival, I approve. I remember Diana's death as my youngest child was only three months old, my dickhead ex-husband had got up in the night to feed her and then came back into the bedroom and said she had died, I didn't believe him. Then he put the telly on to prove it. I also distinctly remember Michael Jackson's death, as I was shagging, and my friend text me, I read her text during the 'act' and that put Boyf right off.
