Fucking hell, the one time a thread is actually ABOUT ME and I miss it. PS there is no tree on earth that could support the weight of both me and that fat bastard LFN

Let's have some Stalinist style authoritarian repression instead. Thread locked!

Nothing to do with me. I'm just back from my jog. I worry about some of the posters here (not just you). Life is fleeting and we spend far too greater a proportion of it just squabbling about... nothing really.

Concubine is such a fabulous word. So much better than 'partner'. It sounds vaguely floral. Or vegetable. "There are some lovely concubines at the bottom of the garden".

Arkadi Waispapir, as far as records show, the last survivor of the Sobibor escape from the destruction camp, died aged 96. The last one of less then 400 people who survived the camp out of 170.165 people who arrived.

Last World Cup, because one of the games was on after, I saw the final few minutes of the soap on mute. I turned to the wife and said "I don't recognise any of the people in Corrie these days" and she replied "Yeah, that's because that's actually Emmerdale!"

Dear Death ray your rants have become so specular that they can bring users back from the dead. The reason I have come back to this forum is to ask you this one question, why are you still here? Why are you wasting your time here? You seem to clearly hate this site and the fact that you are one but you still go here on a daily basis. If you are this unhappy, leave or at least deliberately get yourself banned like I did. You are young and you shouldn't be wasting your life on a subject as depressing as deatlisting instead you should be studying or going out. Take a honest look at yourself and you'll realise the only person stopping yourself from doing these activities is you.

I did used to cold call my own Grandad asking him to donate to black charities so I will give you that one.

Considering my job basically revolves around receiving horrendous yet juvenile insults of a mundane nature the brilliant effort gone into this put down is a most welcome change.

Aye, but it's a lively competition. I've slipped to 27th but quite enjoying the standard this year. Our leader has 20% of his team underground and 54 points, and it's only January. That's serious dead pooling is that!

Prem Tinsulanonda will miss Armed Force Day celebrations due to feeling very weak and almost not eating for a week. Though there is speculation he is breaking up with the Prime Minister (backed by Armed Forces) government firmly denied this and said Prem is now in poor health.

Ask on Gransnet? They're quite sympathetic towards people with clueless DILs (and I'm very sorry for your loss and that you're in the horrible position of having to pussyfoot around her) It doesn't sound right to me but then again I was talking about putting my seventeen year old up for adoption the other day and hoping to avoid grandchild woes so might not be best placed to give advice.

I’m sure whatever it is, it’ll be as awesome as the alien from Alien. Probably going to keep mine for at least a few years tbh, I really find Malcolm X interesting as a person even if I don’t completely agree with. I was tempted to change it into a pink David Bowie icon, but something in me is resisting it...

This time of year is when you feel relieved not to have scored in this pool, let's see that turn to utter panic in a few months.
