2 pointsNot gonna lie, I’d laugh my tits off if Anthea Turner was wiped out in a freak back-of-a-truck explosion. Welcome.

1 pointIncidentally, London's murder rate, and recent changes in it, is nothing exceptional compared to the UK overall: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/apr/05/how-does-londons-spate-of-killings-compare-with-other-cities The last available homicide rate in London of 12.2 per million is well below the highest in England and Wales, which is seen in Greater Manchester with 19.1 homicides per million people. Which in turn is much less than, say, the USA average of 49 per million people, or the global average of 62 per million people. EDIT: And even if we were to go just on the basis of the recent spike in the last three months, 50 homicides from a population of 10 million in 3 months equates to 20 per million in a year. High for the UK, but not massive globally.

1 pointMeh. I've seen it happen. But then I'm much older than you so I can say that you - young whipper-snapper, you - don't know anything whatsoever. It was 34F here today.

1 pointWelcome to the forums, Mark. The front page DeathList isn't really something you can get involved in, as it's decided by a small group of people, though the rest of us can still make suggestions for names to appear once December comes.

1 pointHello all, Been a lurker on here for a few years myself and just thought I'd create an account to say "hi"! I understand the point of the Deathlist and feel you guys get some undue criticism from people who assume you all are evil people cackling maniacally as they wait for celebrities to die one by one, but I know that's not the case (at least, I hope that's not the case, lol). I know there have been many celebrities' deaths that have personally hurt many of us and that this Deathlist is more so like a "tournament bracket" or "picking the Oscar winner" sort of thing (or whatever hobby-related analogy fits your demeanor). Anyway, I just wanted to drop a greeting and hope I can get involved in the next year's Deathlist...however that works! Mark

1 pointBonding with the Earth and the trees is pretty much the prosaic norm already. I'm expecting her in her last couple of weeks to just lose her shit completely and dribble on about voles fucking mushrooms while she meditates in a garden of mother slutty nature.

1 pointRemember Albert Moses? Well the press didn't, despite his roles in The Spy Who Loved Me, East Is East and Carry On Emmannuelle, and all his other roles on TV, including working with Benny Hill and Little and Large. And yet despite this, Soon-Tek Oh will probably get coverage. I continue to be saddened somewhat about our own showbiz personalities who keep getting missed, and yet those who were in US shows always get press.

1 pointHere's a list of survivors from 1994 spoof film The Silence of the Hams. The movie is so bad it is unwatchable, but it had one of the greatest casts ever: *Ezio Greggio (1954). Italian entertainer, recently lost his father. Still active, had some legal troubles some years ago. *Billy Zane (1966). Middle aged man with no health issues. *Joanna Pacula (1957). Has not acted since 2010. *Charlene Tilton (1958). Short woman (4' 11''), but nothing beside that. *Stuart Pankin (1946). Fat and had heart problems. *John Astin (1930) The mytical Gomez Addams. Not seen in public since 2013 more or less. *Tony Cox (1958) Character actor known for his role in Me, Myself and Irene. *Mel Brooks (1926) If he did not hang himself for being in this movie, this means he has a strong will to live. *Larry Storch (1923) A legendary Jewish character actor, he did not take part to the celebrations for his 95th birthday this year. *Rip Taylor (1935) The crazy American actor we all love. *John Carpenter (1948) Greatest horror director ever, he made mistakes too. This is one. *Eddie Deezem (1957) Stand-up comedian specialized in nerd-type roles. Out of the list only Astin, Brooks, Storch and Taylor are old and (very) obitable. The rest of them seem safe for some other years. The main reason for writing this list was boredom.

1 pointDunno if they'll make the next three years, but CopperCab is now a she. No soul and no penis. Coppercab is either a brilliant actor/troll or deeply deeply unhinged.Could definitely see him topping himself or going on a killing rampage. Hang on, you're not suggesting that transgender people are deranged, are you? If so, I think that's a highly misguided and ignorant view to take. Remember when homosexuality was classified as a mental illness? It would be bigoted to suggest that homosexuality is an illness now. Many transgender people do suffer from gender dysphoria (which is a mental illness), that can be managed somewhat by simply respecting their gender identity, I.E. using their preferred pronoun and name. What I don't understand is why people have to go out of the way to treat transgender people with disrespect, all the transgender people whom I have met have been some of the loveliest people I've ever met. Why do they deserve to be treated with hate and disgust just for being who they want to be? People may have their doubts about transgender issues, but the least one can do is to abstain from cockwombling. I think if she does end up topping herself it will in part be as a result of the vitriol which she has unfairly been the recipient of immediately after coming out. I do hope that I've merely misconstrued your statement, otherwise I'm disappointed in you. Sorry for ranting.
