The actress Cloris Leachman is ninety-fucking-two, as she would say, and hasn't got a thread like 4 of her Mary Tyler Moore Show chums. She's one of the few people with a truly instantly recognisable name à la Zsa Zsa. Her illustrious career goes back 70 years and has seen her win a whopping 8 Emmys. Her role in The Last Picture Show bagged her an Oscar. Seems deathlisty. That 2015 photo above inspired a "Sad Last Days" article. She had hurt her ankle a few days before the picture was taken, plus the National Enquirer writers have clearly never seen an 89-year-old woman without makeup. This is her at her most recent red carpet event on 2nd March of this year: She is a strict vegetarian and leads an active lifestyle. In the 2010s alone she has made 86 film/TV appearances. One of those is The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, a God-awful POS spawn-of-satan "what moron thought that was a good idea" type of film. It stands as the lowest-grossing film EVER released in >2k theatres. She's back on track now, with films planned for as far ahead as 2020. I believe and hope she'll be around for longer than that, but she should be on people's radar.

Gove and Rees Mogg ARE near the top of power, though RM in particular enjoying considerable support in his party. It's worth considering if by winning the 2015 election the Conservaties created the seeds of their own short-term destruction. The best news they have - ironically - is Jezza's presence as leader of HM oppostion and the aversion much of Britain has to seeing him gifted any real power.

Ultimate quandary. Queen dies, 10 days of national mourning. England win World Cup and return for their heroes' welcome.

It’s just a mess. Hard or soft exit, the Tories cannot stop this bloody infighting. Will Boris Johnson last the day in post? Probably as he’s awaiting Mays demise to pounce. As for Gove? A weasel. A total cockwomble.

Here's a brief update for Matt Cappotelli, in which a total of 13 out of the 18 teams thought he wasn't tough enough to last out this year. Only points for him is a regular point and a bonus point for those who put him on one of the secret spots, and these teams did find a spot in which they get an extra point: FixedBusiness, RadGuy, Pedro, Book, and Toast, with the last one in that list breaking the 4th= joint pack (error says 3rd= last time, my apologies) and gets to an exciting position as the deficit between her and the pair at 2nd= is only one point, but the others stuck at 5th= is also only one point from her. Here are the scores! 1st - Torva Messor - 41 points 2nd= - Death Impends - 37 points 2nd= - drol - 37 points 4th - Toast - 36 points 5th= - CaptainChorizo - 35 points 5th= - The Dead Cow - 35 points 7th - msc - 34 points 8th - CastAway - 32 points 9th - Heef - 30 points 10th - Pedro67 - 29 points 11th - RadGuy - 28 points 12th - The Unknown Man - 23 points 13th= - Book - 22 points 13th= - FixedBusiness - 22 points 15th - Bibliogryphon - 20 points 16th - Gooseberry Crumble - 17 points 17th - YoungWilz - 14 points Last place - Joey Russ - 10 points Torva Messor leads at halftime, but will they still be leading in the end? Only time will tell...

89 year old Asian American actor James Hong has quietly retired from acting. At age 89 and with 400+ films under his belt suddenly retiring now does not look good. He is best known for his portrayal of po's father in the film series kung fu panda.https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0393222/

It's a journey from a very dark place full of twists and turns with danger lurking at every corner. There's bound to be a few tight squeezes and at times they'll feel like they want to give up and at times they will actually go under but hopefully they'll get through and eventually arrive at a brighter, better place. Anyhow enough about Brexit wonder how those Thai lads are getting on?

Then Phil gets a little overexuberant in his celebrations and it’s a great time for all hardcore republicans/England supporters

Or one of them is already dead, and they're putting off releasing the news until after both Wimbledon and the World Cup are over.
  17. 1 point
OK, one of them's clearly about to drop dead.

Aye, it has the makings of a great movie ten years down the line - you can't help thinking at least one of the blatant contenders will bottle it (like Boris did last time), at least one more - maybe Gove again - will hurl himself forward in a state of total delusion over whether he's capable and wanted and maybe some option acceptable to the party will steal in (in the manner of Major or Cameron) all of which will detract mightily from actually running the country. May looks exhausted and much like someone who would suffer massive shock if she had a good day at work. In danger of severe injury caused by shuffling forward whilst extremely tired and tripping over her own eye bags.

Oh well at least Theresa May looked a bit strong and stable for an entire weekend. It's more than we ever expected !

Hmm, we definitely need to impose tariffs on this sort of thing...

Point of this game is for the random cards you are dealt to determine the outcome. Jokers and uniques were deliberately excluded to lessen the control players have on the result. That's why it's "fun"...I guess....
