So sorry for your loss. Someday in the future you will be somewhere or be doing something and think: my dad would have liked this or he would have liked to be here. At those times you will know he was with you in spirit. It is quite comforting when that happens. R.I. P.

Sorry to hear about that Biblio. At least he lived a good long life by the sounds of it though.

bladan is back from holiday

He is in his final hours/days. I wish it is soon, I can't see him suffering anymore.

Last night my Dad died. He had been poorly for a few weeks. He was 90 but despite being blind for the last five years he was not unhealthy. We celebrated his 90th birthday back in February and then he was still able to participate. Things had not been easy for him considering he was a widower aged 50 with four children aged 19 to 9. He eventually started another relationship but she succumbed to Alzheimer's about 5 years ago.
