Buddy Holly stopped raving on today 61 years ago, along with J P Richardson (aka The Big Bopper of Chantilly Lace fame) and Ritchie Valens (notable for La Bamba ). Later dubbed 'the day the music died' by Don McLean in American Pie.

Updated for Doleman and Andretti. I have an asterisk next to Truong....haven't seen anything resembling an English language obit much less a QO from the DP he came from. Rules is rules, don't blame me (even though I made them up). BANANA becomes the first team with two hits, clearing off half his board.

There are now two hits on the deathlist less than 5 weeks into the year. I told you patience is a virtue when it comes to enemas. The stools are loosening up and starting to gradually evacuate from the bowels!

Can someone invite him to write on deathlist's "joke" thread?

Ok, who is he and why is he hated so much?

On the chart for Feb 3rd says over 1082 dead and 52500 cases. Would any of us be surprised if these were the real figures? Could even be alot worse.

Right, day three of the cup and a couple of fans have reportedly left the stadium. They expected a quick opening and they’re now disappointed that it didn’t happen. On the flip side, John Ridland dying before the starting line might be a bit of a blessing in disguise, as there is no sign of a QO anywhere. Could turn out to be better than some people...

Despite all the spam, spam, spam, spammity spam of his declining health in recent months, 10 teams expected Terry Jones's death as much as they did the Spanish Inquisition. In a way, my prediction already came true (the 'reach' part of it, at least) in July 2019, because Barbara Kent lived to be 103. But if we want to be really pedantic, then Olivia will match her age towards the end of April. How about a sweepstake for how long into the 2020s she will live (year + month maybe)? I'll go with September 2021, because going any further than that would be pushing my already incredible luck. If I'm being completely honest with you, I never really (as in, wouldn't bet my life on it) thought she would live to see the 2020s. She could have keeled over two days after my post and it would've been at the VERY advanced age of 96. But nope, she's determined to make my bold assertion come true. And for that, I thank thee, Dame Olivia.
