5 pointsFears Philip won't be alive in 5 years; that's tragic, 90% of world population makes it to 104.
-
4 pointsYou can also move Pistor and Bothe from blue to red as their deaths have been verified now. Bothe's page was finally settled on Wiki as her having died in 2000 (there was previous doubt as to whether she had died - the confusion occurred because an interview with her from the 1990s was mislabelled on YouTube as 2007, as it was rebroadcasted that year). Ernst-August Pistor (his full name is provided in the court documents online) has an obit from several months after his trial here.

2 pointsAccording to that link it's changing it's name to NatWest Group. Nowhere in that report does it say Westminster. Anyway, individual branches aren't going to change their identities, not like when Royal Bank of Scotland got rid of Williams & Glyn's!

2 pointsPrince Philip could “allegedly” pass away in 5 years. Fuck me. Stunning bit of journalism.

1 pointWell, it's over 24 hours since I started a thread so... The death of Mrs Ralph Vaughan-Williams was a timely reminder of the existence of widows much younger than their more famous husbands and wives. I think it's time we pooled our knowledge on those obit-worthy if low-profile survivors. The likes of Imelda Marcos, Betty Ford and Nancy Reagan are already on the DL radar. Let's limit this collection to those out of the headlines but still obit-worthy to DDP standards and beyond. I'd wager the following brace would score, even by the exacting standards of the CPDP. Step forward, Bing's bed-steady: Kathryn Crosby and Prime Minister's poetess partner: Mary Wilson.

1 pointOk. As Kenny McCormick is whinging about Roberta not having a thread, I present to you all............... The Roberta McCain thread. Fill yer boots.

1 pointNatWest (as everyone calls it, nobody calls it “National Westminster”) is already an existing bank and brand, owned by RBS. The name RBS is still synonymous with the banking crash of ‘08. If they feel that by now they still can’t shake off a bad reputation then a rebrand is a sensible move. It’s not an anti-Scottish conspiracy that you and the cybernats of Twitter would like to believe. Tell me, are you also one of the mad Nats who boycotts Tunnock’s Tea Cakes after they introduced a Union Flag symbol on the packet, and do you think MI5 rigged the 2014 referendum?
