Already posted elsewhere, but he’s dead. Let’s enjoy one of the best things he ever did, shall we?

Sorry that I am late to the party - just back from a week-long family camping holiday in the rain . This has cheered me up no end though - I'm well chuffed. My wife has just asked me why I am suddenly all smiley - not quite sure how to explain the joy of winning a Deadpool!! Thanks Joey for running such a superb contest all year. Apologies for all of the last minute teams - some of it was work, some of it was laziness, and some was trying to get a last minute edge. Not that it helped at all - the only last minute thing I did was to take out a few good picks . It seems like a near impossible job to run a pool like this one, but you have done a cracking job of it. Thanks again.

That damn disease known as diabeetus unfortunately caught to him.

Can you imagine if you'd picked him too and you'd been right? We could have been waiting another 5 years+ for this round to end!

Somebody said my old one (see below) was awful, so I decided to make it somehow worse.

And just like that, the cup has officially ended. Where has all this time gone? There were 42 competitors who wanted to win the cup, and believe me when I say that there were plenty of awesome matches done throughout the tournament. However, 41 folk despite wanting to win it unfortunately fell short of the ultimate prize. That’s okay though, there’s always next year: One person, however, ended up winning it all. This person even said that their research skills are a bit insufficient when he joined the cup, and just hoped to make it to the next round. Not only did he make it past further into the cup than anticipated, he ended up winning the whole bloody thing. So, after giving the host so many panic attacks by turning stuff in super close to the deadline and beating legends such as Death Impends, Clorox, DeathByArsenic, YoungWillz, alt obits guy, and markb4, I officially congratulate An Fear Beag as the winner of the 2020 Deathlist Cup. Thank you all for participating and hopefully the cup will be running next year.

Or alternatively, can someone create a thread called Trump’s Presidency in extra curricular and we reserve this thread to discuss his health only?

Whilst I have no negative health news to report I note that Jack Higgins the prolific author is now 91 and hasn't published a book since May 2017 - until then he was producing about 2 a year. I'd rather DL missed with Jack Higgins than hit with Sir Lord Captain Sergeant Lieutenant Tom 'I walked round the garden on my zimmer' - the committee need to reimpose some standards into their 50 picks. 'Candidates must be famous enough such that their death is expected to be reported by the UK media; Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently' Tom spent 99.75 years of his life failing the first test and only passes the second because when he started walking round his garden he was likely to die imminently.

It might be a sign but they are both well in their 90s and the US is being ravaged by Corona. That alone is reason not to go

With the likes of Olivia, Vera and Kirk falling off their perch perhaps they would all be decent picks next year? Having said that, I don't see Dolly going anywhere yet. Redford and Julie Andrews perhaps though?

Hello everyone (this is my first ever comment ) I’m fairly confident Pope Benedict won’t last next year if he survives 2020. He’s very frail from recent images I’ve seen (but then again I thought he seemed really old when he was Pope ) I feel like Glynis Johns is a big possibility as well. I can’t explain it but I just get a feeling that one day I’ll be scrolling through twitter and an obituary for her will emerge.

I fucking loved this as a kid, and it still bangs now. N.E.R.D, the rock/hip hop band containing Pharrell Williams before he was happy.
