On the Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, "Eric lived in the studio rafters and used to winch down a plastic ball containing postcards for the prize pick. Such was his popularity that when the team were looking for a name for the statue given to the winners of the Swap Shop star awards, Eric was the natural choice" You won't get that kind of detailed information on your average forum boards, you know. Cheggers was a real poet - not just anyone could rhyme Reagan with Keegan. Edit: oh balls, that cunt BA Robertson wrote it.

I'm a trans woman myself. Knew it for years, and some on here have known in private for a while - no reason to keep hiding. Life's too short. Don't want any fuss - just here to deadpool and perpetually increase my knowhow of yesteryear celebs. And agreed wrt the above, having that deadpooler's sense of black humor definitely helps keep me sane.

Definitely will have him in my Top 50 next year, if he makes it. His face is noticeably gaunt, and although he's still mentally very sharp, his voice is more hoarse-sounding as well. At least he showed he could stand up during the interview, but he unfortunately doesn't look good.

Thanks YW. Such a strange act. Reasonably well known considering they were essentially a one hit wonder for their Automatic Lover, #35 and yet not the song I was expecting... I’m very familiar with “Baby Baby” because of its use in popular culture. It didn’t even chart, but seems to be their signature song... and yet I don’t really understand how it grew to being so widely known in the timespan from its original release? Also unusual that Edwards is still with them as the last remaining original member. Drummers are normally the first out the door and punk bands in particular would often dispose of and replace their drummers within a couple of years.

Other than Mel Brooks (94) himself, just three credited Blazing Saddles cast members still alive: Burton Gilliam (82), Robyn Hilton (76) and child actor Rodney Allen Rippy (52). Unusually high mortality rate for a film from the mid-70s with such a big cast.

You can show all the poll results you like but the truth is that there is only one true poll and that is the election itself.

WTF is the logic behind allowing pubs to sell takeaway food, but not alcohol? Alcohol is available in any supermarket, corner shop, and I seem to remember they allowed off-licences to stay open last time. Beer has a limited shelf life, so our local pubs are taking yet another big hit - this one entirely unnecessary.
