9 pointsI'm just starting some leave from work - the first time I've had more than one day off - including weekends - since April 20th! So I've got out of bed early to make sure I get my money's worth, otherwise I am so tired that I could just doze through the next week. Am going to look into my 2021 DDP entry later. For a while I genuinely thought I might have to give it a miss due to other life stresses getting in the way. I don't need to win, but I do want to be there. Thanks to my admin colleagues in Paul Bearer and Death Impends for picking up the slack while I ignored PMs, reported posts, thread crimes, etc. I'd like to wish everyone a belated happy Christmas and a prosperous 2021. Better days are coming!

6 pointsWouldn’t it be marvellous if another hit happened and we could coronate King Deathers the Banned.

4 pointsIf anyone else feels this way I'd have no objection to opening it to start July 2021 and run for a year. Bit late to start for Jan 1. Of course, I'll need to crowdfund for staff, business rates etc etc.

3 pointsThe first time a DL I experienced as it happened (2009) is down to zero survivors. How the time flies!

2 pointsNo sour grapes from me, congratulations to the committee for the amazing 20 hit record achievement this year but I did really think I was going to win this. At least a Donald has something to cheer about even if not winning a US Presidential second term.

2 pointsDDP - Content with a top 10 finish given I'm a lot more chill about it post victory. Two best decisions were keeping Shurer and risking Tom Smith seeing 2021. DBN - Possibly ends up my only victory this year. 2 point lead... If it holds, it will be a nice last hurrah for my days of extensive research. Another case where Shurer was huge, especially since he died before the transfer period. Cup - Was secretly hoping for an earlier exit so I could fully begin taking it easy wrt deadpooling, but kept cobbling wins against tough opponents. My wish of an exit was finally granted by An Fear Beag in, erm, the final round... Can't be bothered to do rest. After winning the DDP, I feel I graduated from the Deadpooling University!

2 pointsI don't want a television but I have finally given in and I'm watching The Mandalorian. (via someone else's Disney+ account obviously) It's okay really, and not a steaming pile of shite like every other new thing from the Star Wars franchise. People I know are whining about the CGI being rubbish, but I'm not watching on a big screen so I don't care, and also it looks more like the original trilogy this way. I'm still at the spaghetti western stage but it's supposed to get better. Grown men admitting to crying at the end of season two on Twitter swung it for me. That and it's The Baby Yoda Show I'm pretty tearful after paying £2.49 to show SC "The Snowman" but I forgot that the ending isn't exactly feelgood and now I'm having to explain how dark U.K TV can be again.
