Ronald Reagan (born 1911) was also older than four of his predecessors: John F. Kennedy (born 1917) Richard Nixon (born 1913) Gerald Ford (born 1913) Jimmy Carter (born 1924)

Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, 81, sounds a bit frail giving this tribute to HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. Never had a strong voice, but possibly worth consideration in future years.

She won't abdicate. There's no need for her to do so. Abdication is a dirty word to her, it caused her parents no end of grief.

If anyone deserves to die its that damn W**ker that QE2 is married to. Yep, you got it in one, Prince Philip ( Mountbatten) of "foot in mouth" fame. Apart from that, what else is he famous for? Marrying the Queen, big deal! The sooner that bugger is relegated to the earth, the happier I'll be. At his age, hopefully I shouldn't have too long to wait! *fingers crossed*

Talking of the Masters, there's some old former winners still going: 1956 winner Jack Burke (born 1923) 1961, 1974 & 1978 winner Gary Player (born 1935) 1968 winner Bob Goalby (born 1929) 1971 winner Charles Coody (born 1937) 1973 winner Tommy Aaron (born 1937) As we have said, Player looks in rude health but the others might be worth watching out for.

https://www.womanandhome.com/life/royal-news/the-mysterious-disappearance-of-queens-working-royal-leaves-just-11-serving/ There is increasing speculation and rumour about the health of the Queens 84 year old cousin Princess Alexandra who according to this article has almost vanished from public life and royal duties without explanation. A spokesperson for the royal family has denied there is any serious health issue but word on the royal grapevine is that Princess Alexandra is not in good shape at all. Posted in the ideas for 2022 thread also as not everybody reads every thread but I definitely think Princess Alexandra is someone deadpoolers should keep an eye on and give serious consideration to.

He was my BONUS candidate on the 6 Months 6 Names A Small Game forum! I had a hunch about him and did the gematria on April 9th 2021! He was 99 and April 9th is 99th day of the year and the day itself added up to 9! 0 + 4 + 0 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 18 1 + 8 = 9 Thus, making Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh perfect for passing on April 9th 2021! *Looks around to see who is next while sipping on some delicious tea*

Just finished The Serpent. Wow, that was good. I didn't know anything about the true story depicted so it was all new to me. Horrible and fascinating. Excellent sense of time and place, some bravura performances and well-chosen music, and it had me on the edge of my seat several times.

Will Megan be barred from entering the UK on the orders of Brenda? Will she and Hapless Harry even dare to come from the funeral? They will get a roasting from Charlie for their huge porkies.

As I've said before, he took the piss out of everybody, he was an equal opportunities offender I don't think he was a racist at all. He and the Queen were meeting people from all nations, races, religions, you name it, they were probably more open-minded than the average white UK citizen back in the day.

RIP the Duke. Really bad taste to call him a 'casual racist' - he was a man of his time and he took on board the attitudes of his time, right or wrong.
