Alright, I have submitted all the teams that I am going to submit for 2022 (except for my not super-competitive shadow list, which already exists in my excel file). So I am now going to add the already submitted teams to my 2022 database, starting with the publicly posted ones. Depending on my speed and headache intensity, I will probably reply to the PMs tomorrow.

Assunta "Pupetta" Maresca, beauty queen-turned-Camorra figure, dead at 86. Made international headlines in the 1950s when she murdered the man who killed her husband, Camorra don Pasquale Simonetti.

Wow, this could be big. This could be very big indeed!! US lawyer/politician Harry Reid has decided that he has seen enough of 2021 and has clocked out a few days early. He is a hit for two people in this pool. One is Nantonian who scrapes into a tie for 10th. The other is me and the huge points total for Reid sees me over-take the long-term leader Drol with only 3 days to go. An Fear Beag (2799 points) 12 hits [Belinda Sykes*, Bernard Tapie, Bob Dole, David Gulpilil, Dilip Kumar, Harry Reid, Jimmy Greaves, Larry King, Leon Spinks, Lilian Priest, Rush Limbaugh, Yoo Sang Chul] Drol (2716 points) 15 hits [David Gulpilil. Dilip Kumar*, Dovid Soloveitchic, Emmanuel Evans-Anfom, Ernie Moss, Florence Alice Lubega, Frank Worthington, Gerd Muller, Greg Gilbert, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Mikis Theodorakis, Norman Lloyd, Ruthie Tompson, Toko Shinodam, Vittore Bochetta ] Can Drol muster up one more hit from his list of crusty old world leaders, or can I hold out for 3 days to win my own competition, in true Fr. Ted style? I think my screen time is going to shoot through the roof for the next 3 days as I check Drol's remaining picks every 5 minutes!

I do not think Queen Elizabeth will die in 2022. I think her demise will be long and slow (remember the Viz Queen Mother memorial teatowel joke). I think there will be at least one Christmas where she does not deliver her Christmas message before the end. However I do see her along with Carter and Pope Benedict as too big to miss so understand her continued presence on the DL

Oh, nope! I'll only be including the list you submit here and won't be cross-checking lists in that way! Because of the laxness of the rules, I'm barely checking them as is I'm sure you have your reasons for making the two lists different!

Curious,do you know any other French celebs over 70 who are unvaxxed? Asking for a friend who doesn't play any deadpools at all.

I presume so. I've been following this rule since I started.

I play with that rule personally.

Got bored, made a deadpool. Here's all the rules. Have a list of 10 political candidates. This includes Presidents, Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers, Dictators, Parliamentarians, as well as losing candidates. (so you can have Jimmy Carter, Dan Quayle, John Major, Nick Clegg, Kim Jong Un as well as Michael Dukakis - oh and don't forget the random MPs and Representatives.) They can be from any UN member state and from any election within said nations. Order them from most likely to least likely. You get 10 points for first place, 9 for second, 8 for third, etc etc. One extra point is awarded for unique picks. One extra point is awarded for murders/unexpected deaths, as long as you don't commit them yourselves... You can't pick someone who will be executed. (as to be expected) Pick two subs please. I never know what to put here but enjoy. Oh, and if one of the picks is dead, @ me when you tell us please. Entries don't close - join whenever.

It's fast, it's furious it's f***in' good fun. Teams of 20 topplers posted on this thread or PM'd to MPFC will be collected into a masterlist to provide a carnival of carnage, the counting of which goes live in the first second of 2022*. Points aplenty pour into the scoreboard until someone snags the stupendous total of 2022, at which point the event that used to be the fastest deadpool in common useage (until MPFC started something faster!) slams on the brakes and the lucky winner is duly given metaphorical back-slaps and allowed to claim a prize worth about a tenner (though tradition thus far dictates this turns into a charitable donation)**. Closing date for entries is midnight on 30 December 2021. She's mastered everyone else's ceremony, 'bout time she did the duties for us, then! In it to win it this year are... An Fear Beag - af BabyBlue - bb Banana - ba Bibliogryphon - bg Book - bk TheDeathofBrian - db CalebH - ch Captain Chorizo - cc The Daredevil - td DeathByArsenic - da Death Impends - di Doulton - dl Drol - dr Dying Probably - dp Famous6WEva - f6 gcreptile - gr Great Uncle Bulgaria - gb Gooseberry Crumble - gc GuyFromFuture - gf JoeMoneypenny - jm Joey Russ - jr John Key - jk MariNisia - mn Maryportfuncity - mp msc - ms theoldlady - ol The Old Crem - oc Pedro 67 - p6 Predictor - pr Redrumours - rr Salmon Mousse - sm Sideik - sk TheSpinosaurus - ts Toast - to Torva Messor - tm The Unknown Man - tu Wannamaker - wa WEP - we YorkshireBanker - yb Top talent aplenty in our list of previous champions: 2009 - Raskolnikov 2010 - Nobody, I mean f***in' nobody, reached the winning points total 2011 - DDT 2012 - Spade Cooley 2013 - DDT 2014 - Death Impends 2015 - MSC 2016 - DDT 2017 - Death Impends 2018 - MSC 2019 - Phantom of the Midway 2020 - RadGuy 2021 - An Fear Beag 2022 - Banana * There may be a slight delay getting the whole thing up live at the start of the year due to domestic commitments - but it'll still be up there very close to the first second of the year (and that's when the competition goes live) ** To be precise, every winner bar one has opted for a charitable donation and it's now tradition that MPFC provides evidence of said donation once victory is declared. Feel free - should you win - to opt for consumer goods, mind!

She still looks fine for a woman her age, sure, but I do think it's noteworthy that she is still noticeably thinner from even just a few months ago. And it's not like it's a "oh you look great because you dropped some weight" kind of thin. At least, not to my eye. I just hope she's not slipping.

He shouldn't be on the list, simple. There are plenty of others that could go on there instead of him. He is Bernard Cribbins FFS, we need to hang on to him for as long as possible.

I dreamt that my eyes had shrunk to the size of apple pips and the only way to cure it was to get a face transplant. I was told I was very lucky because a famous person had just donated their face for me. I awoke from the operation to discover I had been given the face of Jeannette Krankie!
