Happy to report that I went to see Graham Bailey today, he was recalling stories from his time at Huddersfield Town between 1936 and 1948. Fascinating and he's still in good health at 102 years old. He's definitely my club's oldest living player, am I right in thinking he's the oldest living Football League player as well?

Pope Leo III died on this day 1206 years ago, aged 66. Leo was elected pope in late December of 795 following the death of Pope Adrian I, and he chose to keep his birth name as his papal name. In 799, some of Adrian's relatives sent hitmen to attempt to remove Leo's tongue and eyes. This attack badly injured him and left him unconscious (though his sensory organs intact)- two Frankish envoys rescued him, and the pope was sheltered by the Duke of Spoleto. Leo and the duke, Winiges, traveled to modern-day Germany to meet the King of the Franks, Charlemagne, who led him back to Rome, and he set up a council between Leo's supporters and enemies. The enemies were exiled from Rome. On Christmas Day in 800, two days after the council's conclusion, Leo crowned Charlemagne as the first Holy Roman Emperor. Leo and Charlemagne's friendship lasted until Charlemagne's death in 814. In 808, Leo declared Corsica to be Frankish property, but the island (as well as Sardinia) were occupied by the Muslim Emirate of Cordoba in 810. Also in 808, he and Charlemagne helped reinstate king Eardwulf of Northumbria to the throne following his ousting in 806. Leo's reign as pope lasted for 20 and a half years, and he was succeeded by Pope Stephen IV.

He also doesn't really appear that much in real lift anymore. I live in West Yorkshire and always used to see him on my local town street about 2 or 3 times a month. I don't think I've seen him at all since lockdown restrictions were lifted. I don't know him personally, this is just an observation.

Halliwell is definitely a good shout. He has been looking and sounding quite frail after the heart surgery he had couple of years back and he doesn't really appear that much in the soap anymore.

Songwriter Richard Sherman is 94. Along with his late brother Robert, he made the soundtracks for films such as Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Aristocats, and the 1973 version of Charlotte's Web. They also made songs for Disney rides such as the Carousel of Progress ("There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow") and It's a Small World. Part of me feels like he's gonna debut on the list in 2023 or 2024 (if he makes it that far).

Eugenie is friendly with H&M and has been to visit them in the US. Some people are convinced that H&M did not bring their children with them. They are saying that nobody - airport staff, drivers etc - saw any children. AFAIK there has been no official confirmation from BP that the Queen met Lilibet. Not that there needs to be as it would be a private matter, but it would quell the rumours. There are also rumours that they don't actually have any children and it's all staged, but I think that's going a bit too far.

Yes I can confirm he’s the oldest living and he’s #6 all time but he needs to live to 107 to break it but he’s just shy of 2 months away from #5 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_centenarians_(sportspeople) Here’s the whole list if you want to see others

Gosh it is quite striking! What is your theory? Separately to this I do think the realisation after the platinum jubilee thanksgiving service that they are second row royals really seems to be something they are resentful of and could cause strain in their relationship if one of them regrets the decision to quit the UK in 2020.

That is awful.Shadrach was a great character and growing up anyone scruffy was called Shadrach jokingly.Even sadder that he has gone unrecognised when he was killed off against Andy Devines will which I remember greatly upset him. The Dingles are now without an identity since he left. They have been tamed down and show none of the roughness that Shadrach represented perfectly. They even mellowed down Zack not that I think he is in it much. That gets me thinking Steve Halliwell might be worth a punt soon.76 heart problems and had a rough life before fame.

Meghan will get bored and realise that because she isn't a proper royal anymore with all the lovely stuff and things funded by the public (they have to pay back £2 million for Frogmore House) that she isn't so special. She won't have a lot of commitments in Canada other than being a mother and the occasional charity work and then she will miss acting if she isn't missing it already. I live near Windsor and my mum's close friend told me that she knows a woman who works at Windsor Castle for H&M press office etc and apparently Meghan is a right madam/bossy and always wants to get her own way. It really feels like with all the strip of royal titles, things relating to the army being stripped basically, being made to distance himself from his blood family and friends in UK, that Harry is in an abusive relationship. These are all the warning signs people tell you about - just not talked about here because Harry isn't a woman. We know Harry has had or has mental health issues so he's just giving in to person he thinks he loves.
