George Wendt, American actor and comedian who rose to fame for his known role of Norm Peterson in the massively successful sitcom "Cheers", is 74 today. He also reprised his popular character in "Frasier", "St. Elsewhere", "The Simpsons", "The Tortellis" and "Wings". George Wendt is also well-known for his appearances on "Saturday Night Live".
