The topic of seeing which members of music groups are still alive and which bands are completely dead has been discussed a lot on the forums, but as far as I can tell, there was never a thread for this topic. So I made a topic on this discussion. Obviously it isn’t as clear as film casts, as bands often have many lineup changes within their career, so it might be better at this point to look at different lineups. For example, all four Ramones who appeared on their debut (and most acclaimed album) is dead, but Marky Ramone, who replaces Tommy in their later albums, is still alive. That said, some classic lineups can be safely considered dead, like the previously mentioned Ramones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, and Motörhead. There are also groups who are almost all dead, like The Bee Gees, Cream, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. So, what bands/band lineups can we safely consider to be deceased? I think it’d be interesting to discuss...

Why is her father casually talking to the press as if her death is a trivial detail of his life? Honestly, WTF is wrong with some parents?

I would’ve posted in this in the poetry thread but the brief is ‘crap’ poetry. This poem isn’t crap. And, as nurses begin their perfectly justified and easily avoidable strike today, it’s one to keep in mind.

Lack of news, there's not been much news about him during the last years. I'm doubting the Closer Weekly article saying he's "a bit forgetful but doing fine". He's had atleast two, some have said four or five strokes, blocked carotid arteries and other heart problems, cancer multiple times, falls...A miracle he's still alive.

Actually, Im as flippant as the next man and will pull the piss out of most things and people, BUT in this fabulous little world we are living in there is a very significant amount of people who want to kill the f*****g lot of us because we do not fit into their social or / and religious criteria. Yes I rejoice at the thought that there is one less about, however, in reality, for every " Martyr" that is cut down there are dozens flying into remote training camps to take up the " struggle". Man, that aint funny.
