3 pointsRules: 1. Make a list with 15 names of centenarians or people who could reach 100th in 2023 (example: Henry Kissinger, Glynis Johns). Only will be hits the centenarians deaths. 2. Please pick people you know are still alive, avoid limbo cases, in case your pick is already dead even same day picked, you will need sub it. 3. Any member can join when wants, if the member is banned, the hits could continue counting but that member don´t win at the end. 4. If your pick doesn´t work, change it, including those who don´t make the 100th birthday. 5. For supercentenarians names they will need some articles to be acceptable. I will research those names and ask for a change in case of need it. 6. Any obit posted in the forum will do you get a hit, no need posting everywhere. The obit can be in any language always can translate in English. Some cases will be allowed family posts in social media. 7. Game starts in January 1st 2023 and ends in December 31st 2023. 8. The winner will be who get more hits or who get the 15 hits. If 2 or more get the same amount at the end of game the winner will be who get more unique hits or less popular picks. Good Luck Everyone!!!

2 pointsYou know you can post these in this far more suitable thread. This thread shouldn’t have any more death mentions now that this thread exists:

2 pointsSadly none. His cancer is terminal, we know that much, but how “treatable” (ie life extending) it is, I don’t know. Field was a deathpool trap. Most of the time hospice = imminent death. All that said, his age and his recent elusiveness would suggest it’s unlikely he’ll see out 2023.

2 pointsWell, it is nearly 4 months later since the last post and during my research for the DDP, I can't figure if he's a worthy pick for 2023. Yes, he'll QO and he is said to have stage 4 cancer, but the type of cancer is unknown. I picked him in 2021 and with him reaching 80, he's dropped in points too. I can't find much from him in 2022, but here's a timeline of events. 22 Oct 2021 - Baroness Meacher announced his illness and stay in hospice during a debate on assisted dying; this thread created by @Ulitzer95 29 Oct 2021 - Last tweet on Twitter by the @frankfieldteam, thanking for the outpouring of support 1 Jan 2022 - Receives New Year's Honours 17 Feb 2022 - given "the Freedom of Wirral" 2 Sept 2022 - co-wrote an article on the cost of living & energy crisis, mentioned by @Sean above ** the only action directly attributed to Field in 2022 ** His personal webite (frankfield.co.uk) hasn't been updated since November 2019. The Frank Field Education Trust is active, but it is unlikely he has any part in the day-to-day works. I'll ask @Ulitzer95 - any insight you have?

1 pointProblem is that, with golf, you can be "winningest" without being also most successful, due to how much weight majors carry. Mickey Wright would be considered the greater player historically, despite 6 fewer regular tour victories. This doesn't even factor in the money component.

1 pointInteresting that there has been no comment from Sir Bobby Charlton about George Cohen’s death, i know he has Dementia but would of thought there would of been some word from his family on Sir Bobby’s behalf he must be pretty far on with his dementia now if not able even to acknowledge Cohen’s death.
