2 pointsBritish born child actor turned screenwriter Paul Playdon has reportedly died aged 80: https://hmssweblog.wordpress.com/2023/05/13/paul-playdon-spyfi-writer-dies/ After appearing in such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents with Jessica Tandy, he went on to write for TV on such as Mission Impossible, Cannon and Hawaii Five-O. To my generation though, he will be known as the guy who developed the motorcycle cop show CHiPs for TV.

1 pointGrumpy Cat (Tardar sauce), THE internet celebrity cat, died on this day four years ago at 7 from UTI/kidney infection complications. That's her with Stan Lee in 2015. Grumpy Cat's grumpy appearance was caused by an underbite and feline dwarfism and these or related conditions likely lead to her early demise - house cats seem to live on average around 13-18 years.

1 pointIndie wrestler/competitive eater Megabyte Ronnie has been forced to retire from the former due to a back injury. Maybe wrestling was what was keeping him healthy and not going through the health problems that competitive eaters usually suffer from... could be one to watch

1 pointFrom the well-trodden "teams doing well in the DDP to DL Cup" pipeline, we have a hit in the shape of Denny Crum. Crum was the coach of the University of Louisville's basketball team for three decades, taking them to two NCAA championships (80 and 86) and revolutionizing the way college teams set about scheduling early-season matches. Such was his skills in the post-season he was nicknamed "Mr March". Grim Up North, despite bagging a unique hit, won't be known as Mr May just yet - alt obits guy still leads them on average age of hit. alt obits guy 4 vs Grim Up North 4 DevonDeathTrip 8 vs An Fear Baeg 0 gcreptile 6 vs deadsox 0 Banana 6 vs wannamaker 0

1 pointYou'll be laughing on the other side of your face when someone shoots Scarlett Moffatt for being a multi-millionnaire with a media career lasting several years despite being an irritating talentless lump. Tbh I thought people like Greaves, Crosby and Gorbachev (all of whom had already been on the DL at start of play ) were outside the spirit of the game and therefore ignored them all.

1 pointhttps://www.facebook.com/MainiokotiJusolanlampi/videos/296765841676215 Here's the video I talked about in Scavenger Hunt... A woman is interviewing 1964 Tokyo 50 Metre Pistol gold medal winner Väinö Markkanen. Some parts of it translated: 0:18 she asks "Väinö, what was your sport" No response. 0:26 she again asks "In what sport did you win gold" Around six seconds later he answers "in pistol shooting" very unclearly. Very short answers and the whole interview seems to have been forced. He does answer the questions right but doesn't seem to be enjoying it and can only answer short answers, and also says unclearly something when they talk about life that could be translated to "for me it's starting to be over". At 2:20 she says "Long life. And the secret to living long?" and "Will it be kept a secret" He answers "Yes" Edit: Also, it's recorded in a nursing home for old folks who need 24/7 care by what is probably a member of the staff and was posted on that nursing home's facebook page.
