2 pointsThis schools story really is astonishing. In 2018, crumbling concrete in schools posed a legitimate critical risk to life. They needed the budget for 400 schools to be repaired/rebuilt. The Tories agreed on 100. Then a certain chancellor going by the name of Rishi Sunak came in and halved the budget to 50, while giving out six-figure sums to Winchester college and seven-figure sums to an IT suite in a US college. Disgusting doesn't even cover it.

2 pointsOk, I'll continue, but I'll take wannamaker's edited voting and skip RIP Wee Jum and CaptainChorizo. Reason: Both voted for songs that had already been eliminated. So it would be better if they just vote again. 04.09.2023 61 Gnarls Barkley - Crazy 59 Nelly Furtado — Maneater 51 Scissor Sisters - I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ 50 Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat +4 50 Rihanna ft. 2 pointsOK, entries are closed. I have to sort through my message folder but I think we got a similar number of entries as last year, maybe more. Please give me a couple of weeks to organize and post the teams, and sort out any subs and other issues to get the teams in order. My team was sent to Bibliogryphon before the deadline, and I shall post it here as well prior to getting all the teams posted on page one of the thread. No hits for me yet. 1 pointJim Maguire, who played for Rochdale, Alloa, Brechin, Dumbarton and Queen of the South, is dead. According to Scotland's People, there is only one James Smith Maguire born between 1929 and 1932. Significantly, that man was born in Eaglesham, which matches his Wiki page, but is 2 years older than originally thought. @Ulitzer95 could you tidy this one up please? MAGUIRE JAMES SMITH M 1930 561 / 3 EAGLESHAM That man died in 2020 as per below: MAGUIRE JAMES SMITH 90 SMITH M 2020 649 / 306 BARRHEAD
