2 pointsHis ex-carer fights back All this stress cannot be doing Alain much good. The article also does mention him as "ailing" a few times, although as it is the Daily Mail, this should be taken with a grain of salt.

2 pointsAnother one has gone under the radar that I've spotted tonight! Burton Albion manager "Dino Maamria has been relieved of his first team duties with immediate effect." That was the extent of the statement - those 13 words. Not so much as a "thank you and goodbye". https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67672385 They lost 2-1 to Stevenage on Saturday, which leaves them 2 places and 4 points clear of the relegation zone in League 1. His loss is @ladyfiona's gain, as she was the only one to have him in this game! This is her 8th hit and puts her in joint-2nd and just one behind leader Sly Ronnie! Updated Scoreboard Sly Ronnie - 9 Wannamaker, Lady Fiona - 8 Rover and Out, Great Uncle Bulgaria - 7 Diego, Bibliogryphon - 6 MariNisia, Commtech Sio Bibble - 5 Maryportfuncity - 4 Buffalo Phil - 3

2 pointsNow, now TQR. They could of been a very rough 86 years. Like those kids that say they have to grow up fast because of how tough their environment is. Kinda like that. Guy Marchand could by biologically 86 but because of his rough environment he could of been psychologically 165. Think about that.

1 pointHaving looked at the full top 25, I am astounded Black Velvet went out so early, it would have been in my top 5 I think. Barcelona, I imagine, is a little more marmite but is definitely a tune in my mind. Pleasantly surprised to see that Runaway by the Corrs made the Grand Final.

1 pointhttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-family/2023/12/09/hardest-working-royals-2023-revealed/ Princess Alexandra, who I suspect is in much frailer health than her elder brother the Duke of Kent, given she has only performed 3 royal engagements this year , whilst he has performed over 60. The Duke of Kent looks pretty unhealthy but performed 60 engagements. It makes me wonder how frail she may be with only performing 3.

1 pointTragic news from Germany this night, as 3rd-tier promotion hopefuls SSV Jahn Regensburg have announced the death of 25-year-old winger Agyemang Diawusie. Diawusie began his career in the RB Leipzig youth system, being loaned out to Wehen-Wiesbaden before leaving to join FC Ingolstadt. After another loan at Wiesbaden, he moved on to East German heavyweights Dynamo Dresden, where he played 30 times before a move to Austrian side SV Ried that didn't work out for him. He returned to Germany to play for Bayreuth in the German third tier earlier this year before securing the move to Regensburg, who had been relegated from the second tier last season.

1 point74 year old Bob Stewart - convicted and currently an independent MP, predictably won't stand again but he's hanging in there until the election so nowt to see here re a by-election. Boundary changes are likely to do for his seat by then anyway. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-67467950

1 pointIf losing North Shropshire was an election losing level defeat, losing Tiverton (with split opposition) is landslide territory. I don't think we're quite there. (Prove me wrong, Tiverton voters...)
