12 pointsThread for classic Hollywood actress and iconic Hitchcock blonde Tippi Hedren. 94 and reportedly suffering from quite advanced dementia. DL-worthy in terms of fame.

9 pointsIt was the adverts that pushed me away from him, I thought Knorr would have wanted some confirmation that he wasn't about to die before they put him in an advert where the punchline is he lives inside a tight wooden box.

4 pointsStrongmen like strongmen, Trump really likes Putin, he loves Kim Yong-Un, he likes Jair Bolsonaro, Victor Orban and whoever else is out there. Maybe there is a differentiation to be made in that there are populist strongmen, i.e. people who act like it and don't really mean it. They love to have other populists to play against, like George Bush Jr. really liked to have a similarly aggressive foil in Mahmood Ahmadineschad of Iran. Now, some strongmen are really above playing to the audience. Putin is one, I think, but Trump isn't.

4 pointsI don't know. I'll freely admit that. From my view, Trump has already signalled he'll give no objection to the disputed areas of Ukraine being handed to Russia. Why on earth would Putin "back" Biden, who is leading the charge with NATO agin him? It makes no sense, unless Putin wants or needs the fight with an ever growing NATO. Just my opinion. My eyebrows shot to the back of my head when I saw the report initially, then if I thought about it, what I said makes sense. Anyhow, all these players might be dead in a couple of years and we won't have to think about it too hard.

3 pointsIt's a double bluff @Ulitzer95, you know how Putin works. Putin says he prefers Biden, the USA shows its disdain for that and votes for Trump (heaven forbid) and Putin gets his pal back. It's quite obvious.

3 pointsIn 1940 in the Usa only half of American's had indoor plumbing,it's reasonably likely that some of the American Supercentenarians spent their childhood and much of their adult life leaving in similiar conditions to Mora.

3 pointsThe Soviet Union are the 4th country out since I started this in 2021. Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and the USA are hot contenders to be the next countries with no remaining Cold War leaders left.

3 pointsOh dear, popular pick for March, the musician Cat Janice has died. She was an American musician who wasn't exactly a household name - until her advanced cancer diagnosis created a storm. At the time of her death she had 1,9 Million TikTok followers and her final song "Dance outta my head" actually entered the charts. Sad story all around - except for the two players who picked her here - max bossetti ominously scores joker points and Wormfarmer punches his ticket for the next round. livingbygrace 0-9 Therewillbedeaths7 Gooseberry Crumble 0-10 Famous6eva GuyFromFuture 6-3 Liz Lemon Caleb H 7-6 Bibliogryphon Dying Probably 0-16 max bossetti Wormfarmer 6-0 Thatcher Yorkshire Banker 3-9 DeathByArsenic The Immortal 0-0 justonecornetto GreatUncleBulgaria 0-6 Mortal Caso theoldlady 0-0 Baby Blue A bit more than a day remains to enter your team for next month.

2 pointsLast day of the month, so time for an update I reckon. The start of the month was suspiciously quiet, so there is a chance I have missed out on some obscure hits. As always, feel free to point out any deaths I have missed. This is what I can see: 5th February: Dries Van Agt 21st February: John Savident 21st February: Micheline Presle 23rd February: Manohar Joshi 23rd February: Wilson Fittipaldi 24th February: Stan Bowles 28th February: Dave Myers And so we have a new leader. The late hit of Dave Myers has elevated @Toastto the top of the pile, but at the cost of the Joker. @Grim Up Northrelinquishes the lead but still sits very close by in second, with @drolmaking up the top 3. @CalebHand @Bibliogryphonget their first hits of the game to enter the race proper, leaving a whopping 13 players still to venture out onto the course. Top 10 is as follows, full scoreboard is on Page 1. Toast (186 points) 4 hits [Dave Myers*, Glynis Johns, Jonnie Irwin, Toby Keith] GrimUpNorth (185 points) 5 hits [Dave Myers, Derek Draper, Jason Smith, Jonnie Irwin*, Toby Keith] Drol (124 points) 4 hits [Jonnie Irwin, Mario Zagallo, Manohar Joshi, Toby Keith] The Immortal (123 points) 3 hits [Dries Van Agt, Toby Keith, Wilson Fittipaldi] Salmon Mousse (123 points) 4 hits [Dave Myers, Jason Smith, Jonnie Irwin, Roy Battersby] The RadGuy (118 points) 4 hits [Brian Barczyk, Franz Beckenbauer, Jonnie Irwin*, Toby Keith] Funeralopolis (94 points) 3 hits [Dave Myers, Derek Draper, Jonnie Irwin] Prophet (86 points) 2 hits [Jonnie Irwin, Stan Bowles] CalebH (86 points) 2 hits [Dries Van Agt, Micheline Presle] Etushispushingupdaisies (81 points) 4 hits [Derek Draper*, Franz Beckenbauer, Jonnie Irwin, Toby Keith]

2 pointsI think only one of these songs would fit into the category of the most recognisable song by a recongisable artist, one that people who don't listen to a lot of music might be able to pick out and identify The Kylie track is far superior to the one that managed to qualify in the last round. However there are a lot of middling tracks that have just not attracted attention because there are worse tracks that need killing off. Ultrabeat, Appleton and S Club I am looking at you

2 pointsDavy Jones died on this day 12 (...or 3) years ago, aged 66. - Jones would start off as an actor, starring in one episode of Coronation Street as Colin Lomax. He also starred on West End and Broadway as Artful Dodger in Oliver!, being nominated for a Tony Award in 1963. - Before joining The Monkees, Jones had a charting song in 1965 with "What Are We Going to Do?"- peaking at #93 on the Billboard Hot 100: - After the Monkees' show ended in 1968, Jones had a few more successful singles, such as a cover of Neil Sedaka's "Rainy Jane", and "Girl"- the latter being featured when he guest starred on The Brady Bunch in 1971. - Jones would guest star on many other shows, including Boy Meets World and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He turned to voice acting later in his career, and lent his voice to episodes of Hey Arnold! and Phineas and Ferb- but most notably a scene in a 2009 SpongeBob episode where he portrayed Davy Jones (of the Davy Jones' Locker legend): - Jones was also an avid horse jockey, and competed in several tournaments. The last activity he did before he died was ride one of his 14 horses around his racetrack.

2 pointsRemember when Dr. Inspector PLANet said no one has ever seen any documents proving Perez Mora was born in 1909? He was on to something big time with that one. Also, unrelated but I accidentally uploaded a random image which is a church baptismal record of some 2-day-old boy from 29 May 1909 to this post. Can anyone tell me how to delete it?

2 points93 year old Claire Bloom appeared in an introduction tonight to a repeat of "Anna Karenina" from 1961 on BBC Four. Looks relatively healthy but Glenda Jackson and Michael Jayston both died within months of shooting similar pieces for the channel last year so perhaps worth keeping an eye on.

1 pointAlthough, as has been noted before, for a TV show that featured a morbidly obese nearly dead comedian from 50 years prior wandering about some churches, the Highway theme had no need to bang as hard as it did
