Before I get on with the actual updates, I've got one more stats post for you. First of all, here's the average points per team each celebrity received: 1 Joe Biden 21.70 2 Donald Trump 20.54 3 Michael J. Fox 18.72 4 Andy Taylor 17.40 5 Billy Connolly 15.81 6 Clint Eastwood 15.75 7 William Shatner 15.44 8 Ozzy Osbourne 15.32 9 Buzz Aldrin 14.05 10 Janey Godley 13.91 11 Phil Collins 13.07 12 Bruce Willis 12.40 13 Dick van Dyke 11.77 14 Robert Wagner 10.47 15 Prunella Scales 9.37 16 Pope Francis 9.19 16 Rupert Murdoch 9.19 18 David Attenborough 8.19 19 Willie Nelson 7.93 20 Mel Brooks 7.32 21 Tim Bilton 6.60 22 Toby Keith 6.05 23 Yoko Ono 4.51 24 Dave Myers 4.09 25 Erik Jensen 3.86 26 Shannen Doherty 3.53 27 Linda Nolan 3.21 28 Paul Spencer 2.58 29 Cleo Laine 2.47 30 Denis Law 2.12 31 Bob Newhart 1.96 32 Dennis Skinner 1.93 33 Patrick Murray 1.77 34 Roberta Flack 1.58 35 Eva Marie Saint 1.44 36 Theo Burrell 1.35 37 Stanley Baxter 1.23 38 Frank Caprio 1.19 38 Frank Field 0.77 40 June Spencer 0.70 41 Esther Rantzen 0.68 42 James Whale 0.65 43 Michael Tilson Thomas 0.63 44 Rob Burrow 0.61 45 Joanne Woodward 0.51 46 Nigel Starmer-Smith 0.49 47 (Wildlife) Simon Cowell 0.47 48 Jonnie Irwin 0.28 49 Noam Chomsky 0.14 50 Jimmy Carter 0.02 51 Steve McMichael 0.00 Using these numbers, I've calculated all of your most outlying opinions. In the table below is an alphabetical list of Inverse Dead Pool 2024 players. Next to each player, there are two celebrities, each with two numbers in brackets – the first number is the number of points the player has assigned that celebrity, and the second number is the gap between that number and the celebrity's average points value. The celebrity on the left is the celebrity whose points from that player are farthest ABOVE the celebrity's average points value (i.e. the celebrity whose survival that player is most disproportionately invested in). The celebrity on the right is the celebrity whose points (or lack thereof) from that player are farthest BELOW the celebrity's average points value (i.e. the celebrity whose death would probably be most beneficial to that player). This player... Is relatively confident in... And relatively wary of... Well, I felt he could easily be missed from his stunning appearance in the UK charts. Many may wonder why his music career didn't take off.

Interesting, I think there's many more , The Bahamas seems to have had four in 2022, atleast Vernon Pinder should be living: Prince Albert Jacob, born in Trinidad, lives in the UK. He was interviewed a couple of times last year, likely still alive too. (Not part of the West Indies but Belize has some veterans living too, Rudolph Middleton recently turned 100)

Recent article about former U.S. senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT): He's said to be in good health, having recovered from health issues he had in his final years in the senate, like skin cancer and breaking his hip. Leahy uses a cane when on long walks but: still goes on these "long walks" most days. His wife Marcelle Leahy is also said to be doing alright, having finished chemo for a curable form of leukemia.

Ivan the Terrible died on this day 440 years ago, aged 53. - Ivan was the son of Vasili III of Russia, and became the grand prince when he was 3 years old, following the death of his father. His mother would act as regent until she died five years later, and from there high-ranking nobles became the regents. - Ivan would officially be crowned when he was 16, and took the "tsar" title- the first Russian monarch to do so. "Tsar" is derived from "caesar", and Ivan claimed that his distant ancestor Rurik was a direct descendant of a fabricated brother of Emperor Augustus (named Prus). - Ivan's early reign is marked by the Great Fire of 1547, a series of government reforms, and the construction of St. Basil's Cathedral in 1561. - Ivan issued a letter of abdication in 1564 due to his suspicion of the nobility. When the nobles were unable to form a government, they begged him to return, and he accepted on the basis that he was given absolute power. This led to the creation of the Oprichniki- his bodyguards comprised of nobles loyal to him, also known as his "secret police" due to the powers and duties bestowed upon them. - Ivan's "terrible" moniker is due to violent outbursts that he often had- and it is also believed he had undiagnosed psychopathy: as a child, he would butcher living birds he caught, and throw cats and dogs out of windows. This is also applicable due to the Novgorod Massacre of 1570 (that killed about 3,000 people), and the fact he killed his son Ivan following a verbal dispute. - Ivan famously died from a stroke while in the middle of a chess match: He was succeeded by his son Feodor I, who was the last ruler of Russia of the Rurikid dynasty.

Elizabeth Edwards announced she had breast cancer a day after the 2004 election loss. She was very instrumental in his policy on universal healthcare in his 2008 election run, and actually any of his liberal policies. I remember having a real preference for her. John sabotaged his whole political career when he had a child with another woman and committed campaign finance fraud to cover it up. Elizabeth died in 2010. The whole thing was very salacious in a way that I guess we don't really like to talk about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Edwards_extramarital_affair It did show that National Enquirer could be an actual legitimate source for political gossip. Whole aside, but the woman that John had the affair with is the subject of many Jay McInerney and Bret Easton Ellis stories throughout the 80s-00s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_of_My_Life_(novel) McInerney's novel also had references to the real life murders of the Brach candy heiress and show-jumping horses that the FBI didn't reveal to the public until several years later: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_jumping_horse_killings I was always kind of fascinated that one of the worst crimes in sports and a political downfall were hidden in these fiction books.

Darby, Rob Burrow and Marcus Stewart in a photo here: - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-68647460 Stewart looks alright, Darby wheelchair bound... Rob Burrow - looks utterly terrible. I'd be shocked if he makes it to 2025.

But that's just the problem with it. There IS no alternative under this archaic joke of a voting system we're stuck with, which none of the main parties with any chance of reaching power has any motivation to change. I can fully sympathise with the 'get the Tories out at all costs' position (and in fact I'll be voting with that in mind myself) but it's hard not to look at the opposition and despair sometimes. The current government has set the bar so low that Starmer could be a wooden fencepost with a red rosette pinned to it and still be a better choice for next prime minister. There was a time when you could defend FPTP as a voting system that produces stable governments that keeps the fringe loonies out, but the last few years have blown that argument apart. The fringe loonies haven't been kept out, either here or in America. They just end up joining one of the main parties and changing them from within.
