2 pointsI don’t think he’s on his deathbed yet. He’s 99 after all but still walks by himself, talks really well and overall looks good. The thing is we just had high standards with him because he used to look fantastic not that long ago and now he’s more… looking like his age ! But let’s face it, he’s in way better condition than most of the 99 yo out there. Not to say he should be dropped next year however

2 pointsNot the only former dictator or dictator wannabe there. Viktor Yanukovych, Askar Akayev and Kurmanbek Bakiyev are living there too as far as I know. Maybe others. Hopefully Syria will become an atleast somewhat democratic country and not an extremist shithole as Afghanistan. I personally don't trust al-Julani or Sheikh Osama al-Rifai who also seems to potentially hold a lot of power here.

Recuperating at home I assume means that he has some kind of a "home hospital" that he's cared in. On Charles Coste, I think his short appearance was a bit unflattering. He looks much more alive in other recent images.
