6 people a day die on British roads. Pakistan provides those clothes everyone wears through child slavery. Global Warming Is going to put paid to all of us within 50 years thanks to the 1% who actually benefit from capitalism whilst fucking the planet and the rest of us. Forgive me if I don't actually give a shit. In other news EnPassant admits to being a cynic and some actor from EastEnders confesses to keeping Colombia afloat personally with their individual contribution to marching powder sales.

Brush up on your Scots dialect. We have to put up with Americanisms

It seems I have to copy the link and paste now rather than just the image.

    I predict he'll live to 95

He really wants to get well and go up to Maine- that should keep him going

Avoid social media, it's in their interest, not yours. Then again, I have no friends, so no great loss.

Lollll ! Aznavour won't die this year, he came to hospital for à sore back, not something important. Plus, he was hospitalized several times before and always recover very fast and well. He has some show till the end of the year So...

Thanks for sharing. I'd written him off and thought he was safe this year but now taken to hospital whist rehearsing.

Clyde is Paul obv (chief suspect in the Tetchy Thread Disappearance if you ask me) Who lives in Leicester again? It's Winnie the Pooh yawning. It's me, where you expecting Algonquin Round Table wit? (Actually it was my third attempt - the forum just wasn't having them...)

He also died, if anyone was wondering. No, we weren't, because that's what "deid" means.

He also died, if anyone was wondering. BTW even accident investigation scenes in New Zealand are idyllic. I need to move there.

I'm Sorry if you haven't a clue who it is, but the President of the society for Italic Handwriting died 10 years ago today. Humphrey Lyttleton achieved fame as a noted jazz trumpeter, but was also a cartoonist, and of course, radio game show host.

You know George is okay for now when CNN's 3rd piece of news tonight after Trump/Macron and Toronto attacks is "Australian Boy flies to Bali solo".

I saw the racing pundit John McCririck on the TV a week or so ago and he looked very gaunt. I looked into him and it said he was recovering from severe flu but it looked a bit more serious than that to me. I note he is 78 and could be one to watch.

Forensic files did an episode on that pricks case

It's a bit early to talk about the 2019 list- a lot of them won't make it to the end of 2018 !

Well then... the Bubolic Plague thread around 1350. Hampered by two facts: no celebrity culture yet, and a third of the forum dying from it. Well, and that there was no Internet.

A deathlist thread around the Court of Henry VIII would have been interesting. Who will lose their head next? Any comment about the King's virility may verily steer the executioner to thine door. And something around the mental decline of Isaac Newton would have been interesting. Plenty of speculation as to which disease (syphilis - never trust a lifelong bachelor!) or evil spirits were getting to him, when it was in reality more likely to be cumulative mercury poisoning causing the eccentricity. And no doubt a lot of speculation around the imminent death of George III from around 1810 - 1820. More shouts of syphilis. In fact, I suspect any fair fellow subject to a peculiar walk 1450-1900 would have had a few accusations of Great Pox/syphilis thrown their way. Syphilis theme teams would have spread like a dose of the clap.

There was, back afore I was even a guest, the next best thing. The Sister Lucia thread, 10 pages of lunacy. Worth a swatch....

Aye, good point - a top Nazi theme team entered on the DDP in January 1945 could've stormed to a good score; followed by bitter arguments about the points for Martin Borman.

I think Elvis would have been a good one. I think there would have been much debate om his size, health and lifestyle and he may just have got himself on the list. The fact that this thread is getting so much attention is indicative that despite the early promise we are heading into a death drought.
