After yet another gubbing at Parkhead last night, I remembered from my yoof about another Norwegian who had scored there @'72/3, although this time it was during a pummeling by the hoops. After a quick check I got the name, Bjorn Wirkola, and that he is still alive. The reason he had stuck in my mind over the decades, was that he was a former World Champion ski jumper before going full-time footballer at around 30 ( multi sports was common back then due to a summer football league). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bjørn_Wirkola In his 70's now, I'm sure he'd get a UK obit, so I'm looking for any health info. Just a personal sort of thing/ deadpooling combo.... You may want to reduce that to a type of cancer seeing as 50% of the deaths are cancer related just my $0.02. You'll end up with all the same names as everyone's main list IMHO. (That's probably another reason why Halibuts are so angry most of the time.) Maybe more people should stop doing lame hinty subtly things and just come up with a basic in your face team name like I have. I don't want to flick through the team listing and just see obscure things like that, or team names that are just quotes from films or TV shows. If you want the DDP to sound like a bunch of annoying Monty Python nerds sitting around making obscure references to sketches, keep doing that. Whoever made the "Poochie Died on The Way Back to His Home Planet" team should take a different leaf from the Simpsons book and ask themselves if they've accidentally become like the nerds from Homer Goes to College.
