La Tombe 265 Posted October 30, 2023 Sad news...I never watched FRIENDS but the name of these sitcom and the faces of the main 6 actors continue to live on since the 90's and resonate on everyone even if you are not fond of such sitcoms. It started to lose its way in series 4 and I never really picked it up again, as Friday night was always pub night in the 90s. Miranda I can watch and laugh at. But The Office and Gav and Stacey always left me stone cold. My favourite American sitcom of that time was Starbucks (I mean Seinfield), but for me the comedy highlight of the 90s was Alan Partridge, so nothing else comes close. Sean 5,999 Posted October 31, 2023 I feel the assumptions being made about Matthew Perry are getting dangerous to people with addiction and mental health.An emphasis is being placed upon him being finally free and at peace is being made and whilst well intentioned seems misplaced especially as we don't know why he died yet .He may have had a heart attack or stroke or embolism but everyone seemingly is buying into the idea he couldn't conquer his demons and that's why he died which may not be the case. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
