Here is a list of surviving People's Artists of the USSR. Remarkably, they all they all tend to receive an obituary in their home country (and usually one in Russia too). Many of these, particularly the Russians, are still popular and prominent even today. After the fall of the Soviet Union they remained well connected and some went into politics themselves. You'll often see them at photoshoots with Vladimir Putin or waving Russian flags at events in support of the annexation of Crimea. Ian Holm cannot die yet. Tom Skerritt is first, or so the movie said. John Hurt (25th of January, 2017) Harry Dean Stanton (15th of September 2017) Tom Skerritt Ian Holm Yaphet Kotto Veronica Cartwright Sigourney Weaver (two movies later) Edit: Well, Tom Skerritt gives no indication of dying anytime soon...

Please remember that the Graham Family worship MONEY! They will squeaze every last dime of those who attend their rallies. These ralies are pure money machines with a little bit of hate and fear put in. If you are able, I recommend every Brit on this site to sign the petition to not allow this wolf in sheeps clothing into your country.

As Book can attest, I miserably failed at Carly Simon's 'Nobody does it better'. But my Sinead O'Connor was quite good many years ago.

I've never done kareoke, but would probably choose an instrumental like Tubular Bells and treat the audience to a thousand yard stare instead.

Count me in as someone who has only ever done karaoke once. In my final couple of weeks in Cologne, those of us who were leaving were all challenged to something no-one would expect us to so I though I'd have a go at karaoke. I tried to sing Itchycoo Park and I think Lane and Marriott are still turning in their graves.

The only time I was ever coerced up to do karaoke, the karaoke machine promptly and permanently broke down. I suspect this was to save the human race.

He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother - Hollies Vehicle - Ides of March Undone - Guess Who (FTR, this is a very challenging song to do, and for that reason I love trying it once in a while. If you can sing at all give it a try) Rocket Man - Sir Elton John (actually anything by Sir Elton, I actually sound more like him than he does. Don't know why, it's a gift [unless you hate him]). Teacher or Aqualung - Jethro Tull (actually anything by Jethro Tull, I actually sound more like Ian Anderson than he does. Don't know why, it's a gift [unless you hate him]). Sir C. (Edit - I'm pretty serious about the Ian Anderson comment, but dead fahkin serious about Sir Elton).

Deathrace form Guide #2 Barbara Bush - hedge-haired former first lady who may not be the first Bush to be bagged by dead poolers in 2018; that said she's reckoned to be a banker of only marginally less value than her loose limbed a heavily libidoed other half.

On this, the 100th anniversary of the death of Mata Hari, allow me to present the LAST PLACE song of Eurovision 1976, as performed by Anne Karine Strom of Norway, presently age 66, so a solid decade-plus away from ever being mentioned in this thread again. SC
