1 pointJust keeping clear of the May thread, but interesting all the coverage this is getting. In the last couple of days in that shithole called Westminster, we have had; Dennis Skinner calling an SNP MP a "piece of shit" https://www.thenational.scot/news/17291339.dennis-skinner-explains-calling-snp-mp-a-piece-of-shit/ And a Tory telling an SNP MP to "go home to Skye" https://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/ian-blackford-told-go-back-to-skye-by-tory-mp-1-4845779 Not heard a peep on the Beeb about either.

1 pointIn theory if one of Kirk and co live to 110 they'd still be DL eligible because their grand age wouldn't be their only claim to fame. That line only excludes types like Overton who were unknown before they were well past 100.

1 pointAnnouncement: I'd like to reassure the anxious hordes that the Hartlepool DP will be going ahead in 2019. Due to a scarcity of updates this year, we may have to take action to protect this important part of our deadpooling heritage, which I'm sure our absent host, the great Rotten Ali would understand. Stand by for further news... DDT

1 pointCan't believe it's taken until 2019 for someone to submit a theme team theme team.
-
1 pointA lot of the early entries are theme teams and the long-term-but-casual players. Don't really expect to see any patterns emerge in terms of most popular picks until my true love brings five gold rings.

1 pointI've only done Windy City and Advent Avalanche. Lost AA and only have 3 hits in WC, but that's more than I thought I would have, lol! I'm intending for 2019 to be the first calendar year when I have my official personal Shadowlist of 50.

1 pointI was chatting with msc, and he told me that each of the top three teams have a fascinating story though. One is the best player of the decade who never won a title before, one is a young breakout star, and one is an unheralded team who most people wouldn’t have said they had a shot of winning until this year. Personally, I’m content with my overall performance and will be happy with wherever I place, as two years ago I never would’ve thought I even had a shot at the title. But here I am now, watching the last two and a half months to see which of the three of us will eventually win the title...
