Went out jogging for the first time in years last night. I'd like to thank everyone for applauding my efforts.

Good morning! May I suggest that those of you who get stressed out about my posts in this thread, just stop reading them. Also I point out that the title of this thread is: Coronavirus Death Toll 2020 - where people can post the death toll in their areas, along with their own thoughts and reactions to what is happening. I understand that this situation is now hitting home for some of you. It is a scary situation. There are lots of other interesting threads to read on this site that might take your minds off these events. Because of the nature of this website though, death is a common theme, but usually not ones own. Keep safe!

You're being a cunt. While it may be true that that the illness comes back in a second phase, it doesn't necessarily "kill them". There was no need to say that.

Great German chemist Rolf Huisgen has died at 99. Known as the father of click reactions, which is likely the only concept I find interesting about green chemistry. His pioneeristic work about alkyne-azide hetero Diels-Alder led to an incredible development in the field, including stereochemical control and use of Cu (I) as a catalyst (only works with terminal alkynes, Ru (II) would later work with internal alkynes too).

I tried to pick old and frail for the Grammy category, and have given the kiss of life to Ella Jenkins, Roy Haynes, Jean Cussac and Alan Bergman instead.

It's got so desperate at MPFC Towers I actually looked forward to registering the new washing machine and dishwasher online to activate the guarantees. Now what do I do for the afternoon?

So, there was this scary bloke who sat in the corner of a local pub and went on about all kinds of stuff. When he told people he used to be in a band and had some hits people tended to say think he was full of shit. I only found out about this afterwards when I filed the obituary on him - he'd been one of the Pretty Things - and someone in the office saw the photo and said; "What? He was telling the truth all along!"

Scary stuff as I imagine people in lot's of countries are dying from this but having it counted as something else due to a combo of age and previous medical conditions.

Wild goose chase better than nowt I say, ha! If Wagner is still alive in 2015, there must be some mention of him, assuming he stayed in New Mexico. They'll all be born circa 1942-44 if they were all at school together. Finding Ant(h)ony Carlucci, an Italian name from Brooklyn in the 1940s/50s going to be a stretch. For all we know, he might be sleeping with the fishes....

Unfortunate? Fucking hell! Wishing gonorrhoea on our superstar NHS workers is beyond the pale! Fucking disgraceful!

Well I'm pleased to say that I feel a lot better than I did a couple of days ago, so if I had corona it seems I've survived it .But since I wasn't able to get a test it could have just been a common cold so I guess I have to stay indoors just in case !

Going to be alot of suicides connected to this virus.Financially and the loss of loved ones and those left behind unable to cope. One huge plus is thank god children aren't effected as much. Toast gave some good recommendations. I found myself trying to ignore this virus now , the two things that have really took my mind of it the best are reading fiction books and playing computer games. Doing Colouring in books with my daughter aswell.

My advice to you is to stop reading about the virus and take a break from it. Watch the news, if you must, no more than once a day. Do something else. Watch some films, read a good book, listen to music, do jigsaws, draw or paint, whatever floats your boat. Concentrating on doom and gloom and negativity will just make you feel worse.

I don't think you ever pick "Bad" teams per say, just a variety of folk who could easily die but seem to survive that particular month. I feel one year this will average out and you'll get 5 or 6 in the one month, I'm just glad it wasn't against me!

Sorry, Biblio. I was aiming to avoid a RoverandOut incident, not to intentionally sqounk one of the nicer forum members. Guess I should start thinking about a showdown next round with Sir Creep.

I've been catching up with the accumulated filing that I've neglected over the past few years when I didn't have the time couldn't be arsed and also done some spring cleaning. Quentin crisp was wrong about the dust. I've also watched a few DVDs that have been sitting on the shelf for a while. I'll get back to reading soon no doubt if it drags on much longer (Whaddya mean, its only been a week?)

Don't you mean: Good Evening! Today is Thursday 26th March. There are 0 deaths village-wide, not counting the deaths China is hiding. In Ambridge the day closes with 0 cases, 0 dead, 0 critical. This is my nth day working from home. Our Prime Minster is a prick and has extended the gap between himself and the chancellor in terms of competency. EDIT: 0 new cases for a total of 0.

Hello everyone from Germany! Lurking around since around 2017, failed to compile my own list of picks yet another time for 2020 but surely won't miss 2021 (if there's anyone still alive by then).
